I truly feel sorry for you easterners with all the snow you've had. It's pretty, but downed trees, broken power lines and big traffic snarls are no fun.

I always enjoyed when the power went out. A book and a candle. Shoveling is a pleasure. Sleds/skis.

"They played this one year during break time at the Walmart I was working at, the seasonal worker was like, "Yay Walmart!" when Chevy Chase landed in the parking lot of the Walmart in the movie. We all just looked at her with a funny face."

I have to keep my aged mother living next door in comfort, in any event, so lights-out is work for me keeping generators and woodstoves going.

I do enjoy creating snow sculptures, though.

I just went out for a 2 hr walk in the wood and it's simply gorgeous since the snow is wet and stick on every single little branches or surface.

I am like a kid in a theme park Jhikpghf
