The fundamental appeal of the Democrat party has always been immoral.

They argue:
Vote for us and we will work to abuse the legitimate purpose of Government, and to use Government to favor you.

For many years, the Democrats controlled the South by making this appeal to white people. They ignored equality under the law and fought hard for special laws and privileges for 'White' people. They used fascist tactics, hate and scapegoating to reach their goal.

In the early part through mid part of the 20th century, intellectuals fled Europe and entered the United States, they settled throughout the country, but particularly in New York. They soon had taken control of Columbian University and New York University, bringing with them their European beliefs in class based socialism. They recognized the flat classless nature of American society and understood that race would be the key driver of a class war in America. These European leftists soon were setting up the NAACP, ACLU, The SPLC, etc. in order to further their ends. In the 1960's they had gained enough power and influence that they pressed upon JFK (being an Irish Catholic, an outsider to the WASP social order), and soon they had the key to their plans in place: The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965. Proponents of the Act argued that it would not significantly influence United States culture. They lied.

With their plan in place, the Democrat party simply switched sides. Where it once argued that it would work to give whites privileges through the law, now it made this appeal to non-white people. But the immoral nature at the core of the Democrat party remained. It wishes to circumvent good government, honesty, and decency in order to pass immoral laws that favor one group of people over others.

To be a modern democrat, one must be either evil at heart, or be what is known as LumpenProles to these european radical leftists. idiot-dupes, or in the modern parlance, a lib-tard.

You conveniently leave out the 24 Republicans who voted YES on the "The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965"

regardless, the act was engineered to increase racial and class divide that could be exploited by socialists in the D party, not republicans

no. the republican party's appeal to most of the people who consider themselves republicans, is that they are voting to achieve limits on government, less spending of our resources by government, and respects individual freedom and rights.

without a doubt, the RINO class has shown us all that this is a lie. they use the rhetoric of libertarians and conservatives to garner votes, to people who have no alternative in reality.

but this problem is different in nature from a party that openly sells itself as opposed to honest government and interested in abusing the very purpose of government to pass rules that oppress others in favor of the group that they appeal to. and that is what the democrats have always done.
