Maybe a red lions paw or red cats paw in the center
If he is South American then it might be an Aztec or Inca symbol
It looks South American to me and it does look like the pyramids are pointing down

No idea. I'll ponder it, though, the Paul Atreides bit is interesting, and it definitely looks heraldic.

It's probably a loaner. They rent high end jewels for the Oscar's.
It might be a piece with provenance.
Do a reverse image search of it.
I bet it comes up

It's a vintage Cartier piece.
No seal or crest

Chalamet held the accessories down for the men on the carpet with his vintage 1955 Cartier brooch that sat at the chest pocket of his jacket.

Doesn't mean it's nothing, may even mean it has more significance in its design.

RE: LakesofMarch
Just to distance myself from the possible implications of this.. Chalmet did Call me by your name, which is horrifying and full of Roman echoes of human sacrifice, and the dress Portman wears in the image seems to be covered in flies/maggots. Researched it just a bit, and it's "embroidered with the names of female directors who weren't nominated". My opinion stands. The pin itself looks pretty terrifying, a clear Horned God once you flip it upside down, and jewels in and of themselves are a problem, because of what the elites do to obtain them. He also played Henry V, never a good sign, because he did so much wrong Joan of Arc had to personally straighten out the offending party. Overall, I think the movie industry has symbolically gone off the deep end since they stopped assigning a host for the Ausurs, and I'm watching ever fewer movies, and most of them animation or harmless summer blockbusters. Whatever curse I'd put on them is probably something they already do for fun in the evenings.

RE: LakesofMarch
red, blue, black and white
all colors are present on this guy
blue with black suit and red and white lily

Heraldic tinctures (colors) are divided into metals, furs and enamels (enamels). Heraldry uses nine important tinctures: two metals, five enamels and two furs. Initially, there were only four colors - red, blue, black and white, but then additional colors appeared: green, yellow and purple. Yellow and white, at first independent of gold and silver colors, later began to replace these two metals and as independent were no longer used. Nowadays, two metals are used - gold and silver, as well as the five main enamels - scarlet, azure, greens, black and purple. A special type of heraldic flowers are furs - ermine and squirrel. https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%93%D0%...0%BA%D0%B0
