Covid19: Is Your Small Town Hush-hush?

I'm curious about what's going on in other small towns during the pandemic?

Mine is having issues of "don't say anything" concerning positive covid tests.

It's simpler if I just explain by posting here what I put on Craigslist today.........

Coronavirus Winslow (Winslow)

On March 20, 2020, one patient from the rez was brought to Little Colorado Medical Center and tested positive for Covid19. That patient went back to the rez for self-isolation.

On March 25, 2020, a second patient was brought into Little Colorado Medical Center and tested positive for Covid19, and was sent home to self-isolate.

The location of where the first patient was from, and returned to, was stated.
People knew then where this virusis is active. More precautions can be then be taken.

The location of where the second patient was from, and returned to, was NOT stated, only "Navajo County" is offered. No one knows to now take more proactive protective measures.

People that are in the area of the second infection HAVE NO CLUE.

Now for the kicker ........

Today, March 26, 2020, and elder person that was a staff member of Winslow Safeway died. It was not stated this persons cause of death.

I posit the following: "The second positive Covid19 patient and the elder Safeway employee, now passed on, are one in the same.".

But ......... not a word of information from those in chare during a pandemic.

Things that make you go hhhhmmm .....

Peace

Numbers in Clinton County new York go up and down. They currently stand at 11 but that still isn't including the dozen or so inmates that have been reported to be infected. It got into our local prison in danimora.

Plattsburgh is a freaking ghost town.

Keeseville is not affected much but that's only because it's so small almost everything falls into essential category. We don't have much here.... aside from the five cases in Essex County.

It has 3 day life span in the wind.

None of us ever stood a chance.

Bright side , the mortality rate is low . Let's hope it stays that way.

Stupid damn thieving crack head town.

Whole state of South Carolina is like that, cept they don't even give town/city only county
Idiot "quota hire" woman from state health cites "HIPPA" and "It wouldn't do any good to know the area where the patient is/was from"

The hell it wouldn't .

I live next to the emergency services for a town of 13k. For a week I was hearing ambulance sirens on a continuous and regular basis, like all day long.
Two days ago it just went silent. I haven't heard a single siren since. I find that more than odd.

RE: Covid19: Is Your Small Town Hush-hush?
Same here. No one knows anything except county.

How many of these positives are actually self isolating? I'm guessing not all of them!

Just another case of sacrifice many to save one! Just another example of how things are all turned upside down in the world we live in today.

"So far we have been made aware of a very small number of people who have indicated that they are disregarding the self-isolation rules. We can not give any details of these cases for privacy reasons."

If you become aware that someone in the community has returned from overseas and is still going to work or social activities, Healthline should be told.

https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zeala...ation.html

Well, so much for that! If no one knows who's supposed to be self isolating, I guess there's no way they can be reported for failing to do so.

Arizona is a desert. I wouldn't expect a virus to live too long in a desert climate. Sunlight destroys it. It's supposed to like cold dry places.

That's the desert in the movies.

The real desert has seasons. It's cloudy @ 42*F right now, cloudy for the next week.

You also may want to inform the 3,000+ virus infections in Australia that there is too much sun to live.

Life is somewhat normal even if shelter in place. Everyone who has common sense following social distancing. So far no cabin fever in our house
