devil system to compare murder cases to find common threads and identify serial killers

A retired journalist came up with a system to compare murder cases to find common threads and identify serial killers through the patterns. Police departments around the county were not interested. They make enough money arresting peaceful people.

So, instead of giving the tech to the cops, the dude has open-sourced it, so families of victims can investigate cases that are being ignored by the cops.

Wow.
This deserves a bump.

Haven't read it yet, but is sounds like profiling analytics.

Sounds interesting but for the analysis to be any good, the data has to be good. So why would the government release data that made them look bad?

I don't think they would, so it's kind of a mental exercise at best.

Wow.
This deserves a bump.

Haven't read it yet, but is sounds like profiling analytics.

I would consider the threads that repeatedly mention certain political views, biases, topics, etc.

With some sort of superposition, it's lonely at the bottopom.
