We've gone from beach sand to smartphones in less than 100 years. The electronics in your phone and computer are made out of sand thats been melted drawn into a wafer and etched and doped with impurities. Point is its naive to assume that stone age people who flaked stone for their weapons would not after thousands of years develop a facility for working larger stones.

Right now the best belief for Stonehenge was that it was a burial monument. They buried about four people a year. The celts and druids had nothing to do with it as it was before their time.

The avenue aligns with the summer solstice but the evidence indicates it was used as a gathering place at the winter solstice based on the age of pig bones. No its not a giant astronomical calculator. The configuration is similar to dolmens found all over asia with two upright stones and cross stone. Gobelki Tepe as well.

Its interesting that Stonehenge was constructed around the same time as they were building the egyptian pyramids.

I took a year of architecture when I was a teen & they really taught stuff over 45 years ago & it’s always looked like the remains of a blown up building to me, no matter how they spin it.

well dragging 6 ton stones 15 miles is still a herculean task. One man working alone might spend his entire life moving one stone half that distance.

With any tech at all, such stones would be moved in days.

Built in the 1950s

No it wasn't, there was a lot of remedial work done to stabilize the stones back then I know because we lived nearby and we used to picnic among them.

I suppose this may surprise many people who thought space aliens built Stonehenge. The blue-stones came from Wales and the sandstone boulders came from West Woods, Wiltshire.

"Sandstone boulders were transported from woodlands just 15 miles to the north"

You mean the Sarsens, they taught us that in school.

And I saw a documentary where the place where the stones were brought from was shown.

But they don't explain how the stones were moved, why so big distances instead doing the stonehenge just side the place where the stones were. And most importantly: what was the original structure, because the thing stonehenge is today is not what it was originally. Is as someone decides to place them in squares or octogons and inside the octogon a triangle or one straight line or whatever. They f**ked the original shape not recently but 2 times also in the past. The real structure will be said in the taygetean ETs thread when the video comes out in spanish (probably it will never be in english so it will be the only place from where everyother youtube will copy. The original shape and for what was built Stonehenge. Soon coming to LOP ---> Taygetean thread.
