While the democrats rush head long into full blown satanism, supporting pedophilia, communism, racism and anarchy, God is still moving powerfully in CA.

This fulfills the prophecy in Daniel 12:
Quote:Those who are wise[a] will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.

All of this will happen as the love of most grows cold and the wicked devise ever new ways to debase and demoralize themselves and those around them.

The LORD thunders at the head of his army; his forces are beyond number,
and mighty is the army that obeys his command.
The day of the LORD is great; it is dreadful. Who can endure it?

RE: Thousands Baptized on CA Beach
It's up to personal choice when people do that. So...with that said, I was baptised as an infant being my parental units choice. I don't believe in wash, rinse, repeat.

Religion is a personal belief, and I am very religious. I would never presume to force my beliefs on anyone else.

The people doing this are assholes out for attention alone. Christ is in your heart and soul. Nobody else needs to know.

Quote:Matthew 6:6 is the sixth verse of the sixth chapter of the Gospel of Matthew in the New Testament and is part of the Sermon on the Mount. This verse continues the discussion on the proper procedure for praying; that is, not to do it in public, but to do it in private.

And how does that make the world a better place, exactly?

“As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.”

H.L. Mencken 1920.

Huh. I had no idea people could be baptised in salt water. I thought it had to be in fresh water. You live and learn.

The salinity of the water has nothing to do with it, what is required is a repentant heart.

Repentant of what? My two sisters were baptised at around 12 years of age and I'd guess had little to repent. Aren't a lot of others baptised as babies?

1000 CA heathens have passed from death into life. It's a trend that could change the character of Southern CA if it continues. I believe there will be a significant revival.

Things could hardly get worse, I mean the democrat governor just legalized pedophilia. We are all blessed when there is a greater Christian influence on society.

It's difficult to see the forest through the trees. The reality is we all sin, we're all fallen creatures compared to God. Repentance is admission that we are flawed, and acceptance of God's plan to redeem us.

But I can tell you straight up, what you see in churches today is nothing like what Christianity was intended to be. It was usurped in the 4th century AD by pagans.

Very few Christians today are genuine in their beliefs, genuine in their repentance.

But you are correct, personally I think it takes a while for a person to slog through their life and realize their mistakes and have a genuine desire to have their mistakes expunged from their record. So you have to believe God is real, that He has a plan (Christ) and that you are flawed no matter what you do.

King James Version

13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
