You are every animal you ever ate.

I thought that was the purpose of giving thanks to the thing we had to kill to eat before we eat to infuse it with thankful vibes?

No I don't claim to have infinite perspective, but neither do you. I don't claim to be mouthpiece of God either. That is your interpretation.

I am just relaying the many ideas about the Godhead, outlined by many philosophers and sages through out the ages, who I wager have spent a great deal more time contemplating and wrestling with the idea of God then you, who seem to be pulling everything out of your own personal perspectives and opinions.

So you're just a mouth blah blah blahing what other people wrote.

I guess that means there is no reason for me to deal with you.

I would need to speak with the actual authors to have any sort of meaningful dialogue. Not some parrot who can retreat behind "it not what I said" whenever they want.

You are just random internet poster as well. Neither of our words are all that valuable in the grand scheme of things.

I still don't know how you get around the idea of a supreme being, getting around containing everything, because if it doesn't it's lacking in something. If it is lacking in something it can not be perfect.

And that is not parroted that is my actual belief as well as a belief held by most of the philosophers that have wrestled with the idea since the beginning of the question.

if you follow the philosophy to its ultimate end there is no 'yourself', no 'I', no 'you'. Only the laughing God who is surprised every time it fools itself

God was so alone, he took on multiple roles. He played each role individually then put them all together at the end of time so he wouldnt feel lonely.

We are each of those roles he played. There is no one else besides ourselves

Which god are we talking about here?

Perhaps it's more about faith...

That's a good way of looking at things. it might well teach people a bit of compassion and understanding.

I look around and see the world is only a reflection of myself/ourselves.

You all have spoken the same truth.
Existential symbolism that speaks to the same reality.

A lonely God, who played -- and thereby united -- all roles.
That's quite beautifully put, in fact.

It all makes sense if you grok that
Thou Art That

We are the Totality
We are the universe looking back upon itself

WE. ARE. ALL.

Namaste.

"Perfect" is an opinion.
All encompassing has a definition and perfect isn't part of it.

I still don't know how you get around to creating a supreme being in the first place.
I imagine it was some wanna be know it all trying to explain lighting or some other natural phenomenon to their ignorant tribe mates.

Does it hate?
I've heard you can't lack anything and still be perfect.

I accept your theory.
Now what?
What do we do with this information?

act accordingly chuckle

which is often easier said than done

IMHO
part of that means humanism per WWJD
and the other part is trying to understand/grok/become
Thou Art That

which means you meditate
upon the fact that we/you/me/all-of-it *are* The Totality

which lends a fair amount of "enlightenment"
by just groking it and meditating upon it

and then if one is lucky enough
it leads to total enlightenment
