I just ordered french dip delivered, a salad and root beer. Taking it into my bed, to watch Bly Hauntings.

NOT DEAD YET!

chuckle

Gross. What happened to good old fashioned chicken soup?

If you can scarf that menu down, you're a faker.

When I get sick, what cures me is something like, pepperoni pizza and pepsi, or fried chickedn and mashed taters.

So I'm trying something different.

Fever or chills
Cough
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Fatigue
Muscle or body aches
Headache

New loss of taste or smell
Sore throat
Congestion or runny nose
Nausea or vomiting
Diarrhea

So far I have these symptoms, in bold. Waiting it out here.

Ah, that's nothing.
I could cure that in one day.

Borscht, bottle of red wine, vit. C & D, and a good movie.

You'll be right as rain.

Oh, deer. I can never, ever, ever, eat anything I have ever barfed up ever again. If you can eat any of that, you're really not sick.

Hope it stays with ya once down the hatch. Cheer

Doesn't mean I'm not infected. One girl had only a stuffy nose, and spread covid to 11 people at a family reunion.

Nobody should eat ramen noodles, but once in a great while. The first reason being the high sodium content, the second reason being you can literally get worms from that sh*t. That's probably why you feel sick.

Throw that sh*t out.

My borscht is so good that all I can say is that it is mind-altering good.

It's insanely good for the body and the mental state.

OHhh. I'm eating it right now.
It's obscenely good.

I don 't like to follow recipes, so I just do it according to my taste.
But. Basically I used a bag of organic beets, and half as much carrots.

You sweat these in some oil and butter. (avocado oil, or olive oil, or veg. oil, whatever you got, and butter.

I use a full head of cabbage and a little butter. (it always cooks down.)
Add your seasoning to both. A little salt and fresh ground pepper.

Add some diced garden potatoes.
If you have them, add the beet tops chopped up. They're very good.

I add a some garlic, lemon juice, and lots of fresh garden dill.

Mix it all together with some broth, chicken-beef-vegetarian whatever.

I had Italian sausage fried up to add last night, and tonight I boiled the
rest of a smoked turkey I did a few days ago to add to everything.

I add a little agave to sweeten it up to taste.
The topping is plain Greek yogurt.

I forgot to mention, I did add an apple to it.

All these things go together very nicely.

Temp now 99.2. Can feel some throat gland swelling a bit externally now. No sore throat or cough though. Body aches continue to worsen. I'll diary if anything changes.

Face warm to touch.

RE: "Almost certainly" covid
Now that I'm up again, and moving about, discovered there was a deep, very deep spot of lung congestion. Felt like it was at the very bottom of the lung. But I know how to deal with that sort of thing. Got it out.

Ears are tingling, nose starting to drip a bit. I'm going to do a full "head hygiene" thing today. ear cleaning, sinus wash etc and turn on the indoor humidifiers, and steamers.
