The Georgia election official Gabriel Sterling said Rudy Giuliani "lied" by presenting a deceptively edited video as evidence of election fraud.

In a "60 Minutes" interview, Sterling debunked one of Giuliani's claims about illegitimate ballots, saying the president's lawyer showed a misleading clip to Georgia state senators despite having access to the full video.

Georgia's secretary of state, Brad Raffensperger, who also appeared on "60 Minutes," said Giuliani "knows that what he said was not true."

When is it okay for a lawyer to lie?

Everyone knows that lawyers are not allowed to lie — to clients, courts or third parties. But once you get beyond deliberate false statements, the scope of the obligations to truth and integrity become less clear. What about reckless and negligent statements that are false? What about misleading statements and implications about the extent of your knowledge? What about omissions? When is it okay to exploit someone else’s misapprehension and when do you have to correct it?

Those and other questions were the focus of a recent ABA-sponsored webinar titled, “Lies, Damned Lies, and Alternative Facts,” during which a panel of expert ethics lawyers attempted to answer these questions and discussed the scope of lawyers’ duty of candor under ABA Model Rules 1.2, 1.6, 3.3, 4.1 and 8.4.....

So where in the article is the video that he displayed that is in question?

They will not show it to you, why, because once you see it, no matter how they claim it was edited to show something, the video does show a lot, so much so that recently SOS Brad Raffensperger during the leaked call with trump admitted that the GBI and the FBI had done investigations and concluded that nothing irregular was found.

But when the legislature asked for the reports, SOS refused to provide them, they are not going to be released, even trump asked for them though his lawyers, and have been denied access to them.

Why would he deny access to reports that exhonerate the state and him from any wrong doing?

Why did he write memos to the legislature in which he lied twice about the video saying no one was told to leave and even though no officials are present, he said that there were always officials present during the counting, but the video contradicts this,

SO now Guiliani can sue them for Defamation and let the court decide,

Oh and here is the video evidence that was presented to the georgia legislature, that shows something, and you can decide if it is nothing, but i doubt you have the balls to watch it,

Disbarment for serial lying and presenting misleading evidence and statements to the courts is not that uncommon. Giuliani is so guilty of being a horribly unethical lawyer and doing so many unprofessional things.

I hope they do it.

If you had read the OP you would know this group can't prevent him from practicing law.

I would give you the due credit that a unethical liar would know about such behaviour but you're demonstrably wrong.

Stop putting words in my mouth, I was posting about Giuliani deserving disbarment.

I do hope they disbar Giuliani, meaning any entity that has the power to do that. Giuliani is a menace to the legal profession. He is fully deserving of disbarment.
