Later today? Tomorrow? Next week? A month from now? Three?

Will they be federal charges? State? Civil suits?

Fraud. Money Laundering. Election Tampering. Obstruction of Justice. Inciting a riot. Inciting insurrection. Sedition. Conspiracy. So many crimes.

Fun times.

The answer is “never”.

1dunno1 Let's hope it is very soon. Jhikpghf

This conservative republican lawyer is saying to follow the NY state prosecutions.:

George Conway hands the DOJ a roadmap to make sure Trump ends up in jail

"On Friday night, writing for The Washington Post, conservative attorney George Conway laid out the way forward to investigate former President Donald Trump for his criminal conduct in office now that he is a private citizen — and prosecute him where appropriate.

"Trump departed the White House a possible — many would say probable, provable — criminal, one who has left a sordid trail of potential and actual misconduct that remains to be fully investigated," wrote Conway. "A desperate fear of criminal indictment may even explain Trump's willingness to break any number of laws to stay in office despite losing his reelection bid, democracy and the Constitution be damned."

While President Joe Biden is correct to pledge to stay out of prosecutorial decisions surrounding Trump, wrote Conway, the Justice Department should not — and everything from the Russia obstruction of justice, to the Ukraine bribery scheme, to his attacks on the election and incitement of the Capitol riot, should be on the table to prosecute.

One important avenue, wrote Conway, is to follow the lead of New York prosecutors.

"[Manhattan DA Cyrus] Vance is running a state investigation, but if Trump has committed bank or insurance fraud, that would be chargeable as federal offenses as well, including mail or wire fraud," wrote Conway. "So, too, with state tax offenses, given how Trump's federal and state returns would no doubt track one another. Trump apparently had good reason to be concerned about who would fill [Preet] Bharara's old job."

As much as I'd like to see T**** behind bars it isn't going to happen. He was POTUS and as such had access to classified information. Putting him in prison would result in an unacceptable risk of leaks of highly sensitive information endangering National security.

The most we can expect is the trials to happen and him being found guilty. In the tax evasion charges he may end up having to pay back hundreds of millions which on top of his already massive debts would financially destroy him. Having a criminal record would bar him from holding any future public office.

What is left of his tattered reputation could be further withered if he is found guilty of being a sex offender.

Whatever happens, it is a sad state that 25% of people in the USA will still support him and ignore all reality by claiming he was set up by some nefarious deep state plot.

RE: How Long Until Trump's Indictments Start?

I wondered what politicians who bet everything on Trump staying in office would do when he's gone and the answer is apparently pretend it never happened.
|
It’s worked before like pretending Watergate, Iran Contra, unanswered questions regarding the Saudis around 9/11, going to war under false pretenses, torture memos, the 2008 Great Recession, etc. never happened.

Quote:"There's no moral equivalency between propaganda and the truth."
--Ronald Reagan

What makes someone like DOJ Atty Jeffrey Clark throw their life away for a desperate Führer with 1/2 a brain? Did propaganda overwhelm his education before he betrayed his country in front of his DOJ peers? The probability of success was low & the penalty for failure is massive.

https://twitter.com/TomJChicago/status/1...12128?s=20

We ask the same question, Tom. WE agree with your probability appraisal. Yet we've all seen this pattern. Clark is not the first. We surmise the answer to be - they don't appraise penalty for failure as massive. Because overall, there's not much Trump-related accountability yet.

Spot on. It reminds me of a line from Game of Thrones:
Ned- “What you suggest is treason.”
Littlefinger- “Only if we lose.”

Immediately because he pissed off the political and military industrial establishments and they've taken it upon themselves to show the serfs that they can't send in an outsider to take the government back for the people. They also want to show any challenger what's waiting for them should they try.

And you don't think it was because he spread lies which undermined our democracy, and the fact that he tried to have the rest of the government assassinated?

You are a complete liar and stooge of the communist party. You use lies and misdirection to accuse others of what you and your communist friends are doing. You are responsible for the overthrow of countries and the deaths of over two hundred million innocent lives

If all your info came from just cnn, without seeing what were really happening on a PTB level. If we are to assume Trump wasnt a phsyop. Its understandable people did gain TDS. TDS would be itterally denying the reality of the situation. Then denying it again with the Bidens and a lot of career polititians. In other words. Not really caring about supposed crimes anyway. A movement more prone to build the Hunger games party for real.

Question for you Ms. Strange. If he incited a riot,

where is the audio and video evidence? Why hasn't the cartel media been playing this 24/7?

Because it doesn't exist, because it never happened.

Bam.

RE: How Long Until Trump's Indictments Start?
The Stalinist, foaming-at the-mouth hatred of an "Usurper" who was by-the-way ELECTED by popular vote and reelected in 2020 but lost through vote fraud.
EVERY KNOWN mathematical model and algorithm proves the election THEFT.
There were other signs too, like when Biden's acceptance speech was posted on youtube, the the "thumbs down were 5 times as high as the "thumbs up". The vid was taken down by youtube soon after, but the European (non-English) news-site published it with a screenshot.
They sarcastically commented, that mail-in votes and the dead cannot vote on youtube...

Anyway, the irrational hatred toward a nemesis is a psychopath trait (read up on it) like the psychopath when released from prison years later, wants to kill the arresting officer(!), the prosecutor, judge and members of the jury.
Stalin had the same issue with Trotsky, who provided the funds for Lenin's Coup d'Etat in November of 1917. Trotsky would have been the heir after Lenin's death. So He became Stalin's nemesis and object of hatred (and fear). Stalin not only killed Trotskyites by the tens of thousands, (yes, literally tens of thousands) but had Trotsky killed in 1940 in Mexico.

Trump will not be safe, because these psychopaths feel that he usurped the presidency - which was "rightfully theirs" - never mind the voting and election process... (Massive voter fraud by the Dems WAS UNCOVERED in PA in 2016, hence the shutdown of the recount by a liberal Dem judge in 24 hours. (Look into it; unfortunately, it was not followed up - but should have been).
What's even worse from the psychopaths' perspective and mindset, that he can be a threat to their power AGAIN.

It's an interesting mental condition; they invariably blame and hate the person who is just incidental to their loss - the arresting police officer of a criminal, or in this case Trump. Remember, Trump did not elect himself...
I said it four years ago, if Mickey Mouse would have been elected by the people and taken the much coveted power from Hitlery Klingon, then they'd hate Mickey Mouse with a foaming-at-the-mouth vengeance.

From a rational point of view, they are batshit crazy. But... They are dangerous, crave power and have killed tens of millions in the 20th century.
