Great no maximum viewing distance (flat earthers always say there is) Great so going to grab my telescope go up a skyscraper and view the whole world......

The maximum viewing distance is determined by atmospheric conditions. When there are clouds or haze, the distance is shortened. But theoretically, if you go high enough, you could see the entire world from one spot in the middle of earth.

Oh now there is a maximum viewing distance.....so on a clear day then i could see from one end of suez canal to other?

In the olden days we just had the odd village idiot who was harmless. Now with the internet they can get together, get thicker and more dangerous.
I agree, although I might change "village idiot" to "crazy old cat lady".

Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose!

No, what you are saying is not correct. There is no maximum viewing distance. In fact, the viewing distance is longer on a flat earth. It's not about making the distance "smaller", but only making the object visible.

Ordinance survey equipment ever used any? Wish flat earther would learn to use them. They would find the earth is not flat and with this equipment they could prove themselves wrong....

On the contrary, such equipment has been used multiple times to prove that the earth is flat. Take the signal flashers, that have worked up to 183 miles on this flat earth...

The Suez Canal is not straight, so that would not work. But assuming it were straight, and you have a good enough telescope, then yes, you would be able to see from one side of it to the other.

Also using your logic using an infrared camera on a telescope I could go up on a balloon and take pictures of whole world as clouds and haze wold not be a problem.

Also i could use direct radio waves and radar the whole planet at high altitude...great better inform the military.....you do understand why radar is limited on a curved suface? It would not be it world was flat.

Never said it was strait you assumed that like everything else...

According to you the land around it would be flat though so should be nothing blocking the view...

Topography is basically flat in that area should be able you send signals directly over the area if it flat and radar the whole area from one position?

What the fook you going on about? Has Hubble just landed on mars and having to send a signal back to earth though orbiters orbiting mars? Plus it does take time to download high res pictures from Hubble.

Yes, that it true. But clouds block infrared sometimes...
