Yes, took 2 hours. I had a hard time getting one of them out.

2 hrs shoptime @$100.00hr $200.00
parts $100.00

$300.00 bucks, pretty standard prices.

Actually around here it's $115.00hr shop time.

Good thing you don't need a plumber......

On some cars/trucks you have to do a lot more than open the hood and change the plugs ....on my truck you have to jack up the truck, remove the passenger front tire, pull of the fender well liner to get to two of the plugs on the passenger side of the engine ....

And don't get me started on water pump or timing chain/belt !!!

The standard Olds 350 is a prime example ,
7of eight are great , but that one behind the a/c compressor , well that's why a thinking man "takes it to the shop"

Mine were easy to get to, but it took me a long time to remove one of them.
Its running better now and not skippping and sputtering anymore.

It was a pain in the ass to get them off, they were in there tight! I had to spray some WD-40 and let it soak for a few min to loosen them up.

Its the first time they ever have been changed.

They were badly damaged and needed changing.

$300 isn't unusual for some v8 trucks. Some vans that have terrible plug access are closer to $600. If you are in some i4 import or domestic car then that is a genuine rip off. What kind of vehicle are you driving BURG?

/\ /\ This.
Many V6 and V8 vehicles have several spark plugs located near the engine firewall, possibly requiring shifting or removing the transmission, engine mounts, exhaust, timing components, water pump, etc.
