I’d say you are the imbecile my dear

Schist is mud or clay that has undergone metamorphis
A very small percentage of schists actually derive from igneous rocks but they must be very fine grain and so the metamorphis changes the crystallisation - basalt is a igneous rock like granite and within granites themselves you will find schists
Calcite can be either organic or inorganic depending - depends on it’s mineral content

And p.s. I’m fully aware that organic means to contain hydrogen and carbon, but considering vegetation and life on Earth all contain hydrogen and carbon I use the term organic as a general term

And PS you said
"Metamorphic - now these started out as organic so bring us back to the initial query."

So metamorphic rocks started as organic....
And I'm the dumb one. Lol
facepalm

Schist as you said is metamorphic.
80 percent of the earths schists are created from clay or mud - what exactly is clay or mud clown.

Also limestone is calcite, would you like to inform the masses how a shellfish can produce a calcite shell if it’s not organic

God created the earth capable of yielding life in the vegetation and animal kingdoms. The garden of Eden is the prime example.

Lmao

Can you get any more ignorant and stupid???

Erosion.
Big rocks get broken into small rocks.

God damn you f**kers are stupid.

Yes. A lot of weathering, erosion and transport of igneous intrusive plutons and the such in dykes, sills and batholiths. All of this happens because of imperceptible continental drift and orogenesis

I think maybe god did create our world but by way of creating us and our brains and eyes and ears to perceive existence because before that, there was nothing...for us, anyways. This galaxy is 4.6 billion years old

I'll wager this is better quality than remote learning eight grade science classes.

God created the earth capable of yielding life in the vegetation and animal kingdoms. The garden of Eden is the prime example.

The garden of Eden is a dumbed down campfire anecdote.

I don't dispute creator or creation, but these spoken word introductions to science and philosophy(religion)were fitted for Hunter-Gatherers.

My POV is God Became the Creation at that instant of inspiration.

The big bang.

Omniscient, Omnipresent, Omnipoternt.

Eden is just allegory.

Shouldn't be taken literally except as a concept, but it's also became a masognistic thing like the Lord thing King James added.

chuckle

Oh lord.

Did the Great Spirit write that or King James?

chuckle

Your skepticism has been noted.

Gold is the money of kings. Silver is the money of gentlemen. Barter is the money of peasants. Debt is the money of slaves. Crypto is the money of robots.

By whom, the Lord?

chuckle

Of course it has.

And God wrote this joke.

Not My Lord God.

Not my Lord Jesus.

The Great Spirit BECAME omipresent during the creation.

You are part of Ominipresent omnipotent omniscient, the Creator who became the creation.

Logically it makes sense.

Blasphemy for sure.

chuckle

Lord though?

Quote:lord (n.)
mid-13c., laverd, loverd, from Old English hlaford "master of a household, ruler, feudal lord, superior; husband," also "God," translating Latin dominus, Greek kyrios in the New Testament, Hebrew yahweh in the Old (though Old English dryhten was more frequent). Old English hlaford is a contraction of earlier hlafweard, literally "one who guards the loaves," from hlaf "bread, loaf" (see loaf (n.)) + weard "keeper, guardian" (from PIE root *wer- (3) "perceive, watch out for").

Mediterranean Christians don't grock it.

Scratchinghead

As part everybody I do it this way:

"Thank you Great Spirit for this beautiful day"

"In Jesus Name I pray,

Amen.

In my view you can say the same thing at least in the three abrahamic raliugions.

Than you God/Allah/Jevohah/Great Spirit/etc for this challenging(or restful/fun/grievoius) new day

In Jesus Nanme I pray
Moses
Muhammad
Saints(Catholics still do pagan Roman polytheism, and I' do too.

But I do it in a hierarchy.

Than you Great Spirit(Crator/allah/universe/etc

For this waking time of a new weird day...

Ten commandments say: do not put any other god before me.

Emplies it's okay to put them after though.

So

Thamk You Great Spirit foe this new day, please guide me away from wrong,

Thank's Thor for that thunderstorm last night....

I Jesus name I pray Amen.

chuckle

I don't mid if you thank St. Anthony because I'm sworn to the constitution.

I even signed mine.

chuckle

If you want to say it in Moses or Budda's name say what you need to.

I do sometimes.

chuckle

Atmospheric weathering, glacial grinding, water erosion, space debris.

You don't say

No, I don't do the atheism.

Why is there only a thin band of topsoil around the Earth ?

Why is it so thin and why dont we find layers of topsoil , hundreds of feet down as erosion etc covers it up during cataclysms etc ?

Define thin.

Most places you can dig through the top soil layer and hit clay just putting a fence post in .
That type of thin .

Now forget life, vegetation, gases and elements.

Where did the billions of tons of soil come from.
Now vegetation rots but for that vegetation to grow in the first place it cannot grow on bare rock. Today we get moss etc growing on rock but these are simply spores floating around that settle then breed but again these spores come from vegetation.

Do you know what moss, algae or lichens are?

Do you know what volcanic ash is?

Do you know what sediment is?

You are looking for an immediate answer to a billion year explanation.
