Gold is the money of kings. Silver is the money of gentlemen. Barter is the money of peasants. Debt is the money of slaves. Crypto is the money of robots.

I don't think so. There is no going back. The tech will remain, now whether the people do, that is another matter.

The base of the pyramid supports the top. Without the base, the top won't last. We've hit peak energy, complexity is now going to be reduced, not increase.

No we haven't. Definitely not for the elite or their fortified bunkers, hooked to their nuclear reactors. They will have as much power as they need. As far as the base, they just don't need as many of them to do the same amount of labor, and the labor gap grows with every industrial and technological innovation.

When the combustion engine replaced the horses, they culled a lot of them, because the demand and need for them dried up. We are approaching the same point for human workers. The demand and need for them is drying up.

The 90's?
Will there be new episodes of Beavis & Butthead?
That would be cool.

Well if we have books still, perhaps. If not, we'd be back to 1900.
