Every so often we get stupid threads like this one. Most agriculture is now automated…no one is needed to bend and pick tomatoes, etc. Automation is doing a lot of people out of jobs, especially agriculture.

The very big farms are all automated. But there's always some scaremonger OP who favors illegal immigration and tries to pull the wool over your eyes that we're all gonna starve because "no one to pick the crops"…

Hello, we have PRISONERS that could pick for MONEY. When I lived in the Dominican Republic, if you went into jail, you either worked in the sugar cane fields to EAT, or your relatives had to bring you food.
