Chemical weapons development sites. No point in already blowing up the factories as the weapons have already been produced. The strikes were designed to set-back the Syrians ability to research more potent means of delivering/manufacturing by a decade.

That doesn't make any sense at all.

Try again.

The research school was cleared by the OPCW a year ago.
They didn't blow up "chemical weapons" at all.
They attacked a sovereign nation to maintain a pre existing agenda and the lies theyre using to support that agenda.

If they had a belief that CW was present someplace they should have acted legally and called for a snap inspection rather than acting criminally.

The attack constitutes Russian collusion in my opinion. It was stupid outside that context.

The US/NATO/ISIS alliance is losing so they are blowing up chemical weapons facilities they were using to manufacture chemical weapons for terrorists in the ME.

Covering their tracks.

It makes more sense to let the chemical weapons plants keep churning out chemical weapons that will be used on more civilians?

Destroying the plant both destroys the existing weapons, and any future weapons that would be made at the plant.

If civilians nearby die, that's called collateral damage. It's best to keep it to a minimum, but sometimes it's unavoidable.

What's important is that like in this case, destroying a weapons stockpile saves more lives in the process.

Here is why all of this crap is happening in Syria.

Genie Energy Ltd. is an American energy company headquartered in Newark, New Jersey. It is a holding company comprising Genie Retail Energy, a retail energy provider in the United States, and Genie Oil and Gas, which is pursuing a conventional oil project in the Israeli-occupied Syrian Golan Heights.

Genie was part of IDT Corporation but was spun off on October 31, 2011, at which point Class B common stock of Genie Energy Ltd. began trading on the NYSE under the ticker symbol "GNE". [1]

Genie's founder, chairman, controlling shareholder and CEO is Howard Jonas. Avi Goldin serves as the company's CFO, Michael Stein is the company's COO and Geoffrey Rochwarger serves as Vice Chairman. The president of its Israeli subsidiary is Effie Eitam. Genie Energy's Strategic advisory board is composed of: Dick Cheney (former vice president of the United States), Rupert Murdoch (media mogul and chairman of News Corp), James Woolsey (former CIA director), Larry Summers (former head of the US Treasury), Bill Richardson, former Governor of New Mexico, an ex-ambassador to the United Nations and United States Energy Secretary.[2], Michael Steinhardt, Jacob Rothschild,[3].[2], and Mary Landrieu. Former United States Senator from Louisiana.
