Mind you if I could prove the supernatural, there are various prizes that can be won. The James Randi challenge comes to mind. If it's as simple as you say, I could be very rich very quickly.

I don't think supernatural is for prize winning. You inflict yourself and indulge in it. Eg, Freemasons who summon fallen angels in higher degrees will never speak of what they see.

As Christians our supernatural encounters are subjective. I can't show you physical evidence. I prayed last couple of days about something and it got answered. It could be coincidental. But how many coincidence do you need for you to see a pattern.?

I did the prayer thing before. Even when I was a churchgoer, it always felt like I was talking to myself.

I could join the Freemasons, but I doubt a bunch of old flowers in robes performing ridiculous ceremonies will provide any evidence of the supernatural.
These days there are very young Freemasons. Don't know which church you belonged in, but am non-denominational. I really understood Christianity by digging into deep occult conspiracy theories. It became clear that satan exists. And he controls the world through the elite. The elite have made death oaths and have to follow satan's commands.

I don't recommend any dark forces, but if you seek supernatural evidence, they are real.

I'm sure that if I dug into occult theories I would learn that there are a lot of superstitious people. But just because someone believes in a being called Satan, doesn't mean that Satan is real.

Never once when I prayed did Jesus poof into existence before me, give me the thumbs up, then vanish in a puff of smoke. Of course even if that did happen that STILL wouldn't be valid evidence, as such a thing could happen if I for some reason became schizophrenic.

So valid evidence would be I pray, he poofs into existence, and we both go to Harvard to have him vivisected.

It doesn't matter what it's for. If it can be proven, then I can use it to win prizes. If it can't be proven, well then I remain an atheist.

You don't look up occultism for others. It's for yourself. It's not to convince the world but yourself . I did it, not to win a prize, but to make sure I understand this planet I live on.

It's a journey. Most don't care to make such journeys. I did it. For myself. I know i get ridiculed for my beliefs because i have nothing physical to show, but i know the number of coincidences that has become a pattern. As well as why every American president is into occultism, owl worship, etc...

I feel satisfied knowing the meaning of this puzzle called life.

If something is provable, it doesn't matter what reason you are doing it for.

just because a place that is mentioned in the bible actually exists, it does not mean the events actually happened.

Why does the place exist then? For what?

Harry Turtledove is famous for his alternate history novels.
They reference many real places but that doesnt make them true.

I think the issue is. Either i show you evidence vs you find the evidence yourself.

Scientists look for evidence to prove to you evolution is true
Vs
In Christianity, you look for evidence yourself.

This is the bottom line

If you are talking about "subjective evidence" that's not sufficient to convince me. I don't care how tingly praying will make my balls.

But do you align the history to the place? Jesus is being used even in our calendar. 2018 AD. I find it mind boggling why that doesn't even occur to atheists. What made the Romans to start counting? Why not 50 years before that?

This archeological discovery makes you see exactly what the Bible was talking about.

I don't think it makes me think otherwise about God. I am satisfied about the wprld, are you?
Every scientific evidence president is found as fake or in line with the Bible. Eg dinosaur soft tissues. Vs ape fossils.

They didn't.

Why do you think this year is 2018?

You can go to Badlands in South Dakota and look for some evidence of evolution yourself.
You won't but you could.

You could actually look at the millions of fossils to understand evolution wasn't made up to insult fundies but created to fit the evidence available.
You won't but you could.

Why do you think this year is 2018?

Nothing to do with the Romans.
