Let's say we could go back in time.

But in doing so would you create a separate time line an alternate time ?

Would the original keep going ?

But you would be trapped in the new time line unable to return
to Point of Origin you left.

If you see what I am saying.

I am so confused !!!

No

You could go back in time right?
So go back before the new time line

The implications are beyond our comprehension, does not mean the universe can't be capable of generating plenty of dynamics well beyond our understanding, so we try to wrap our minds around the possibilities like we do with other fringe related phenomena that people scarcely understand and that defy our ordinary awareness of the rules of the game. Several movies and books have explored the ideas from many angles. Primer was a fairly interesting attempt to delve seriously into the implications, a movie made on a shoestring budget but worthy.

Terminator and Back to the Future series explore aspects from sci-fi horror to whimsical comedy, respectively.

Happens all the time when you crack the nut on the next stage. It's called co-creation for a reason.

I guess Quantum Physics predicts that every possible variation spawns a new timeline. If you sit at an intersection and decide to go left, there is also another timeline where you went right. So, I think there are already an infinite timelines already happening all in parallel.

I don't believe that we can go back in time, unless this is a computer simulation, but if we could, that timeline would be separate and would have already existed.

My 2 cents.

It is a bit like an infinitely complex non-linear equation that gets infinitely more infinitely complex with each re-iteration. The mind of the Creator or God or Providence or any of a number of other names for the same being, can do just about anything and just about anything is not only possible but just about inevitable, so buckle up. People broadly break down into one group that sees the deus and the others the machina and most think they have it all figured out with next to no information, relatively speaking. But it is nothing if not authentic.

No. All points of time exist simultaneously. I'm beginning to believe, that at the quantum/sub-quantum level=pre-big bang, hence "spooky action at a distance", because there is no distance.

Say you went back in time and shot Hitler, no changes would happen in the present, and no branch realities/multiverse. It would just be like removing a piece of a VHS tape, and stitching it back together. The rest of the movie would play as intended.
