I remember all that Lovie

and I thought I told you I'd send you a Laptop free of charge ( BTF, I was Cynically Absurd)

anyway, I'm using Linux Mint 19.1 cinnamon, nope, not gonna go for LM20 on it.

sticking with it, cause it works so good, except,,,, Google Earth update needs a kick
in it's ass.

you guys use Proton Mail for email yet?

pretty secure, not all platforms let ya use it to register, but who needs to register at those?

or Yandex Browser, Russian Browser thats Chromium based and fast as flea farts.

the Yandex search engine reveals lots more stuff then Google, uncensored is why.

I looked into LINUX LAPTOPS.

Don't be worried about me I didn't' murder anybody.

chuckle

Proton mail is the most scrutinized service since Snowden did his limited hangout.

chuckle

There's no reason we can't do video conference peer to peer without skype.

Or mail without proton.

My computer can do both.

Technologically.

Is the patriot Act why we can't?

Secret laws won't allow it?

chuckle

I have to walk the dogs, but I'll be back in 30....

Cheers

It all took a bad turn when they all went to cloud/dunce fones.

Ubuntu is the best example.

It was fine when it was gnome or KDE, or Xwhatever.

The Unity desktop ruined it, which coincided with them commercializing cloud services.

Windows 8 sucked because they made it for a dunce fone too.

I like lots of customizable optional menus.

The best browser I ever used was Mozilla.

Mozilla, not Firefox. The one that came with Suse Linux 10.0/10.1

(Can't remember the version)

But you could add multiple bookmark favorites bars.

So what do you think of Chromebooks then?

How big is the Win11 iso

The Torrent I downloaded from was 5.12 GB.

Late to respond, but Ghost is correct. 5.12gb download.
I initially installed it on a 32 gb flash drive and it was sufficient space to test it.
It was a older drive, so I just installed it on a Samsung - FIT Plus 128GB USB 3.1 Flash Drive with read speed of 300 megabytes per second. It runs as quick as a
regular drive. What's cool, I can use it as a backup up computer. I can boot from any computer (that will run it) and have my computer. Use Rufus USB tool and install it on a flash drive as Windows to go.

i PREFER THE CLaP TOO.

I am installing some of my software now. So far no issues. It's just taking time to learn the new layout a few things have changed around in Windows 10.

I have noticed some menu options are different as well such as like how you
change and rename folders and add shortcuts.

I am so confused !!!
