3 people bought a gift worth 30$

So 10+10+10 = 30

There was a discount of 5$ hard to divide so I gave them each 1$ and kept 2$ for myself

9+9+9= 27 plus the 2$ =29 where did the 1 go

the real problem is that you can't add

Mixing negative and positive numbers.

10 + 10 + 10 = 30.

$10 discount. Give back $3 keep one.

7+7+7=21 21 + 1 = 22,wheres the missing $8

RE: Math problem
The problem is in the wording the seller doesn’t keep the $2 they just become part of the cost.
Received $30 gave back $3=$27
Buyer $9+$9+$9= $27 math is ok

Those who claim domains only makes shithole threads can eat their hats now.

Thanks, I always knew there was magic in numbers, everything is based off it

You're very welcome. But to clarify, nothing is based off of numbers. Math is just another language that is used to describe various phenomena. To place the value in the language used to describe various phenomena rather than in the phenomena themselves strikes me as somewhat misguided. But to each their own.

Kudos on your victorious thread! Heartflowers

This is the right answer. You set up the ringer by claiming that the three people paid 27 instead of 25. He's right you know, you're a dumbass.

You stupid f*#k, why do you keep insisting the three paid 27 when they actually paid 25?
