Math problem

3 people bought a gift worth 30$

So 10+10+10 = 30

There was a discount of 5$ hard to divide so I gave them each 1$ and kept 2$ for myself

9+9+9= 27 plus the 2$ =29 where did the 1 go

RE: Math problem
I showed this problem to my math teacher in highschool and he didn't know the answer. Found it in a book years ago.

If it was $25, they paid $24.33 each with someone pitching in a penny to cover the gap.

Two of them got $1 and the last got ¢.99. You got $2

RE: Math problem
I thought the 3 guys were supposed to be getting a hotel room together? Don't want to know why.

Maybe the $1 was merely a tip not calculated in chuckle

More, give me more. Give me more
If I had a heart I could love you
If I had a voice I would sing
After the night when I wake up
I'll see what tomorrow brings

Its a brain twister, they say your hands make up 27 each and the 1 is in the middle

Once, I almost convinced my boss I would work 2 year, 50 hour a week for 1 cent an hour, but every hour that follows after, my cents would got doubled.. so 1x2, 2x2, 4x2, 8x2, 16x2 etcetc

Made him brainfart over it for more than 2 weeks.. he almost felt for it chuckle

More, give me more. Give me more
