The remarkable Republican underreaction on 'shithole'

http://edition.cnn.com/2018/01/12/politi...index.html

"...The question appears to be whether Trump used the phrase "shithole countries" to describe these countries or whether he used some other coarse term. Trump tweeted Friday morning that "the language used by me at the DACA meeting was tough, but this was not the language used."
On the other hand, Sen Dick Durbin, the Illinois Democrat who was in the meeting, said that Trump did, in fact, use the word "shithole" to describe the countries. Sen. Lindsey Graham, the South Carolina Republican, seemed to confirm that report in a statement in which he said "following comments by the President, I said my piece directly to him yesterday."

what is there to react to? He said a word. Wow.

Words don't scare me, alarm me, or irritate me.

Why do mere words cause so many people to lose their sh*t?

Lindsey Graham would not be considered a republican by any conservative, so you can put that card away.
No Senator should be running out of a closed door meeting and tattling on the presidents language. PERIOD. It is VERY bad judgement, no other country would put up with this betrayal of their country.
No matter where you stand here, the bottom line is, It hurt our country, and that is unacceptable from a sitting senator.

Had Trump said “Those Nazi f*#k Germans will not get a trade deal”, my opinion would be excactly the same. Closed door heated debates are not for political back stabbing, they are private.

Still thinking of what Democrats actually did to Africa/Gadaffi and
Egypt and wondering why their followers don't care what the Clintons
did with the money for Haitian relief. Why do actions not ever bother
them; only words seem to. Some kids needed food but they had to
finance Chelsea's wedding, instead? As rich as those people are?
Why are Dems so greedy/cruel? That's what I wonder about.

I been posting that meme for the last couple days. It fits both parties
pretty well. We need it to go viral. Just a couple more posts and its a done deal
sure to be bigger than last years hit "fragrant orchid".

3 stabs to the back.

Anyone care to listen to a liberal on moral issues?

(crickets)

sorry, you abandoned the moral high ground when you started fighting fascism with fascism.

At least Trump wasn't over in Haiti kidnapping kids for sale to pedos like Hillary did.
