True, natural tobacco consumed reasonably (it's self limiting acutally) is beneficial. Now, you have ruh-tarded shills coming on here with bullshit like

"nuh uh i smokt 3 pax uv mar-bros uh day and got fuct up after 1 yeer"
"i'd rathur smoak k7"
"ur dum, injoy ur death"

And other inanity, totally ignoring the point and attempting to derail the thread.

I read a Medical article on the health benefits of nicotine years ago written in 1945. It’s no longer available but I remember reading that a few puffs of a cigarette cures constipation. It works. Make sure you are close to the potty as it’s effect are instantaneous.

My 2 cents.

Nicotine is not a cure for h1n1, what it does is prevent hypercytokinemia.

It can stop a Cytokine storm(cytokine cascade and hypercytokinemia)

So can Benadryl (Diphenhydramin). I'd put that in my system before I'd ever ingest nicotine.

Funny to watch cannabis & tobacco swap places in the public consciousness. I can see why, from experience & from a social programming standpoint, that the one has gained traction over the other in recent years. Not to vilify one plant at the expense of the other, but the suggestive states that marijuana is prone to induce are far more useful to the current sociopolitical order. That said, both plants have useful applications when administered properly.

Theres so much nonsense in pubmed and alternative media alike. iots clownish stuff to so people i assume must have a dissociative consciousness beyond what i could fathom.

Trying to downplay how serious the bowel disorders were that tobacco helped with is part of keeping humans thinking they are not constantly on the brink of extenction, all throughout history.

"Treating the Cytokine Storm of Avian Influenza, the Premise of this Website:
1. Bird flu patients die from acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) caused by the cytokine storm, and not directly from the virus. Historic survival in ARDS is 60%-85%; with bird flu-associated ARDS it is 43%.
2. Neuraminidase inhibitors (i.e. Tamiflu, Relenza) are not clinically proven effective for bird flu patients and cannot address the lethal cytokine storm associated with the infection.
3. The treatment to prevent or stop the autoimmune reaction (cytokine storm) is commercially available by prescription, but is not currently being recommended by the World Health Organization to treat these patients. "

RE: Nicotine-is-an-Anti-inflammatory-Cure-for-H1N1
https://www.sott.net/article/237552-Nico...-Flu-Virus

Nicotine has an anti-inflammatory effect via the vagus nerve, which is useful against many diseases, and perhaps may block the cytokine storm of the H1N1 swine flu.

Nicotine stimulates the cholinergic anti-inflammatory pathway. At the end of this pathway are immune cells that produce anti-inflammatory cytokines that block inflammation. Thus, nicotine, although one of the most addictive chemicals, can have beneficial effects on inflammatory diseases, such as arthritis, asthma, cancer, inflammatory bowel diseases and perhaps, H1N1.
