Let's not forget that all of the main stream news in the West is pushing Hamas propaganda, and even the so called deaths were reported by Hamas officials. The narrative has been debunked. The "Palestinians" were primarily terrorist (aka Hamas) operatives and were throwing grenades and firebombs at Israeli soldiers. Their leaders were ordering people to storm their positions and kill as many Jews as possible.

Given that, Israel actually showed restraint. Of course you never hear any of these truths in the narrative that Hamas wants you to hear.
