One of the Russian companies special counsel Robert Mueller indicted in February asked a federal judge Monday to determine whether Mueller charged it with a “sham crime,” CNN reported.

In February, Mueller indicted three Russian companies — the Internet Research Agency, Concord Management and Consulting LLC, and Concord Catering — and 13 Russian individuals, accusing them of conspiring to interfere in the “US political and electoral processes, including the presidential election of 2016.”
What are the details?

The brain dead liberals don't care.

He Man, AC, Isabella and others here have already openly said they're okay with the laws Obama/Clintons broke and they're okay with the deep state attack against Trump.

That's the problem.

Liberals don't care about justice, truth, or law and order. They support crime as long as conservatives are being hurt financially, emotionally, politically, or physically - as we've seen in He Man's vast posts supporting Antifa and their violence.

Of course it is.

Everything you are exposed to now is straight up...pure...propaganda.

It is a real crime. They are effectively being charged with identity theft and not registering as foreign agents.

They impersonated Americans to promote politics without registering as foreign agents.

That is a crime.

Of course they will fight it. They will say this and that. And some of them might go to jail for their crimes. And in the future foreigners will be far less likely to intrude.

And stupid people will believe anything from blogs and Russians as long as it appears to exonerate the side that they choose to be on.

Concord Catering existed as a Russian company as far back as 1996. It was not registered as a US company until recently, but that is not the issue.

The lawyers have you duped, yet again.

That is what you get for trusting the RUSSIANS running Zero Hedge.

No dumbass....

what I believe is every country out there tries to influence the elections of other countries...are you completely daft?

The Russians did nothing that the USA has not done a lot more of....

You think it's ok for us to manupilate elections in other countries? Newsflash moron...we do it all the time.

When we stop doing that, then perhaps we can demand other people stay out of ours...till that time

deal with it.

He is getting better at this... at least he got a real company this time.

Well...

Two of the three companies did actually exist.

The current registered owner of Concord is unconnected to IRA and the connection between IRA (the "Trolls from Olgino") and Concord was pretty tenuous to begin with - other than they are both Russian.

The least involved actual company (that did exist so it could hire a lawyer) decided to take the case to court expeditiously.

This means Mueller is going to have to spend resources fighting this case and lose a lot of his hand in discovery or walk away and get a black eye.

Concord's attorneys and Mueller's team will be back in DC federal court on Wednesday -- the day before the first anniversary of Mueller's appointment as special counsel -- before Judge Dabney Friedrich, a Trump administration appointee.
Former Trump campaign aide is helping Russian firm shed sanctions
Former Trump campaign aide is helping Russian firm shed sanctions
Friedrich has not yet handled the lawyers in person, and Concord has indicated it will play to her sympathies: In Monday's filing, the company used details of a case Friedrich worked on decades ago as part of its argument.
Concord argues that Mueller's team must prove the company tried to disrupt the functioning of the Federal Election Commission and knew what it was doing was illegal. To make the point, the attorneys attached an indictment from 1998 against a California fundraiser accused of disguising contributions to the 1996 Clinton-Gore campaign. That case was brought by Friedrich, née Dabney Langhorne, who was at the time a public integrity trial attorney with the Department of Justice.

In the link as above.
