Here it's reverse..

75% of people see a gold and white dress and the 25% of people with a more super sight see the dress in it's real colour black and blue..

Colour blind would be seen as the disability.. then you have people who can perceive colour better in dim or dimmer light.. like in this case..

You can even tilt the screen back or move further back enough away from the photo to see the full colour..

But in Laurel and Yanny.. 75% hear Laurel with the better high pitch hearing..

Although I got a feeling with the yanny.. it's similar like the sound from Iphones etc..

I.e. everybody agrees when the pitches are at the two extremes..

Or maybe it's like the photo I.e. two people see a gold/white and black/blue dress at the same time?

I can only hear yanny.

I saw the dress 95% of the time as black and blue. The first time I saw it, it was black and blue. I looked at it a bunch of times and once saw it as white and gold, but it faded quickly back to black and blue again.

Seen this before at a university if you hear "Yanny" you are very susceptible to audio manipulation (brain control).

its a good example on fact resistant humans, and how in this day, dark will be called light,. and light, dark.

and how, humans in a group will support a lie they all hold.

What is truth. What is Lie

Nothing mysterious about it at all. It says both. What you hear depends on your own hearing, if you hear low range better you will hear Laurel, if you hear high range sounds better, you will hear Yanny.

I call bs on this whole thought experiment for dummies.

I heard nothing but Laurel and so did everyone else in the room. (There were 4 of us.) Everyone thought it must be some joke. It's obviously Laurel. So, maybe it has to do with your speakers?

Quote:"Kevin Cureghian, a Los Angeles-based audio engineer, attributes it to the difference in speakers."

"Any speaker that can replicate enough 'low end' or 'bass' — you will most likely hear Laurel. But any speaker that doesn't reproduce lots of low end (smaller size speakers in general) you will most probably hear Yanny."

Cureghian tested this theory by putting a low pass filter into his audio software program on the file. With the low pass filter, he heard Laurel, but when he adjusted it with a high pass filter, to add in the high frequencies, "you will hear Yanny. I guarantee it."

Oh. Yep, just as I suspected. Thanks Popeye.

My roommate was playing it in the other room just a moment ago and I heard yanny and laurel,I went into that room and I heard yarry about 5 times then it went to laurel a whole bunch of times. Earlier today I heard what sounded like garbled noise when I also heard both yanny and laurel...I am all over the fricken place.
