You Don't Have as Much Control as You Think You Do

Like a scene from a horror film, you are in a elevator, you push the close button —Hurry! The murderer is coming at you! However, again you push the close button, the door won’t close! Psych! The button is fake. But why is that most of the elevators still have those buttons?

Truer words have rarely been spoken. Would be a lesson well worth learning, particularly for those who think they're the ones instructing. Kudos to silversides for stumbling upon this content, regardless of whether or not the full implications of this content were appreciated in the haste to score a point.

This video is going to be a tragic letdown for the 'we are gods' crowd. Although it might explain why their superpowers aren't quite as sharp outside of the controlled environment of their safe spaces.

No worries! Every forum needs a grammar nazi. If for no other reason than to keep the ungrammatical nazis in line! chuckle

I didn't say that everyone took the time to familiarise themselves. Some don't have the motivation so aren't very mature.

The better question is, why throw yourself into something that you have no control over, such as an elevator?

Why not take the stairs, or take a stand and fight back?

We are always in control, in my opinion. We just lack self-control as a whole.
