My family is an aristocracy of a more ancient sort. What billionaires can't buy.

Gatsby is read as comedy by my crowd.

I could try but you either couldn't understand (due to extreme cognitive dissonance) or you wouldn't understand (due to extreme normalcy bias).

Okay let's see if you grasp the concept. Capitalism is a free market system whereby banks lend capital at interest while paying depositors a cut of the profits from the loans they make, that is the interest you would earn on your deposits.

If the banks can get loans from the central bank for practically no interest, and the public isn't allowed to review any of the central bank's accounting, how is that a capitalist system?

Yeah idiot, they went to college, got educated, and made lives for themselves and their families. Poor people are often poor because they choose to be. They make choices like anybody else.

"Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."

-Benjamin Franklin

"Nah...won't happen. We have the blacks on our side. They burn sh*t. And shoot sh*t up."

-Rayne, an LOP liberal

and because of this , you argue that the proposition in the article is wrong?

No I was trying to explain to you that our system is nearly 100% centrally planned, which is basically socialism or soft communism.

Yet you and others of your ilk continually blame 'capitalism' as if more socialism or communism will help.

You are the problem, you and everyone like you who thinks we need more government to solve the problems government created in the first place.

stand up kid , you are falling all over yourself.

chuckle

that may make sense to you but re-read it and then think about how someone else reading it ,needs to interpret it

you are saying I guess system is so corrupted with this imaginary 'socialism or soft communism. ' that we can't actually realize that capitalism is an illusion?
