It's my dyslexia kicking in again..
I had this brilliant idea of a super human drug but got it all backwards in my head.
Maybe i'm just getting old =/

Energy doesnt come from nowhere.
If your brain fired at 100× normal it would starve very quickly.

True it would probably put you into a coma or kill you quickly but in the very brief moment the drug is active how much time could it make pass before that event?

""""However, a team of neuroscientists from MIT has found that the human brain can process entire images that the eye sees for as little as 13 milliseconds — the first evidence of such rapid processing speed. That speed is far faster than the 100 milliseconds suggested by previous studies.""""
http://news.mit.edu/2014/in-the-blink-of-an-eye-0116

""""The human brain has about 100 billion of them. Each neurons fires (on average) about 200 times per second. And each neuron connects to about 1,000 other neurons.""""

If the drug was say nano technology or something like that capable of speeding these processes up by a billion maybe?

No one understands time/space.

They pretend to....they think they fully understand time...but they don't.

Our sense of time is relevant to one rock going around one mediocre star on the arm of a spiral galaxy....

Time/space is so far beyond our capacity to comprehend it...we just pretend to do so and move along....

I'll give you a hint...

the key to the universe is not time or space or propulsion or energy collection...

the key is....(drumroll)....thought.

let that sink in for awhile

Amazing how you are apparently the smartest person ever.
Those silly people who literally do it for a living have apparently got nothing on you.

we all live in the interval between measured seconds

what you seem to be asking is if we would like to be trapped in that interval

Except for the fact that its clearly not true.
GPS satellites do have a slightly difference experience of time relative to the ground which needs to be understood in order for them to work.

Ahhhh, you're confused.
If you mind was going slow then it would experience 1 second internally in more than 1 second externally.

You must mean to say "speed up" not slow down.

sounds like hell.
Trapped in a body that can't move.
No one to interact with.
Just trapped in what would appear an unchanging world.
I think after just a few days of experience you would start to crack.
A few years would lead to madness.
A few billion. .. what came out the other side wouldn't be human anymore.

No you slow down the process at which your brain receives certain signals that is what I mean.
It wouldn't speed anything up but slow down the process millions of times over.

this reminds me of when i woke up after being born and realized the body i was now in was, omg, freaking USELESS as sh*t!
i cried with RAGE until i passed out, i remember that well.
they thought i was hungry or something.
i was so damn mad...

i literally had to shut my mind down, that i remember...i had been so 'ready to go' but then hit a wall with this stupid little body.
it felt like BETRAYAL...i screamed in rage until i couldnt anymore.
i then just shut down and went to sleep.

when i woke up, i was fine and able to concentrate on growing this stupid little body.
