I got involved in something similar several years ago and it was a scam. Essentially, criminals use stolen credit card data, have items they fraudulently purchased shipped to your address, and they then provide you with paid shipping labels for you to ship the product to another address, usually outside of the country. The items are typically high priced electronics.

When the authorities zero in on the fraudulent credit card activity, they come knocking on your door.

Steer clear of this "job offering", it's almost certainly bogus.

thanks for telling me that - did you get into trouble?

No, but I could have eventually. After shipping two items (one to the Ukraine & one to Spain), 5 more packages showed up for me to ship. Also, a credit card bill for some person I don't know arrived in the mail at my address.

I went to my local police with the packages, the credit card bill, and told them about the two packages already sent. I gave them the email address of the "employer" I had. They informed me that this was a scam that they were aware of. I never heard anything more, and never received anymore packages.

It immediately struck me of "scam" and suspicious. Why pay YOU to ship something which they could have shipped to the customer themselves, instead of sending it to YOU to ship? That adds to shipping costs passed on to customers that would price them out of the market.

Also, no company name, address, phone number etc. A real clue it's a scam and or a fly-by-nighter.

Sure wish Popeye would answer your question though.

These are generally for the resale of stolen goods and other illegal transactions. You become the middleman that gets charged with the crimes if investigations lead to you. Still, I know someone that did it and they did get paid.

After close examination I have notice most of you here suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome.
Its actually his supporters who suffer the most.
They are becoming deranged against perceived liberals threats when there are none.
This well surely affect not only your physical health but your mental health as well.
The trolls have notice and are pushing buttons constantly, this will only serve to further sicken you.
For your own mental well being I advise you to shut down your PC and get some rest.

RE: This Job - Has Anybody Tried This?
My sister in law took on a similar work from home job. The company sent her items, I forgot what they were, lets say pens, to put together and send back to them. Everyone was denied as being unacceptable due to some manufacturing flaw on her part. I believe she was required to send money to ship the parts to her in the first place. In the words of Patrick Bateman
" just say no."
