The Extreme Danger of Fentanyl

Fentanyl is an opioid drug of extraordinary strength. Because it only takes very tiny amounts of fentanyl to kill you will start seeing a drastic increase in intentional as well as unintentional death. The fatal dose is only 2 milligrams, 100 times less than morphine. Anyone taking any kind of street drug is now at risk of death without any indication from the size of the drug taken. 2 milligrams is only about the weight of 2 head hairs.. It is common in the medical field to prescribe fentanyl patches for pain relief, and there is some abuse there but the main danger is massive amounts smuggled in the the country from Mexico. There was just a fentanyl bust in Nebraska of enough fentanyl to kill 26 MILLION people!

https://www.cnn.com/2018/05/25/health/ne...index.html

PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW THAT TAKING ANY STREET DRUG COULD BE LACED WITH FENTANYL AND BE THE LAST THING THEY EVER DO.

Hey NN - I read that inhaling a small amount, even by accident or by a jerk's bad intentions can kill ya too. Two policemen almost died and all they did was find the stuff. They breathed a few particles in accidently.

So, water about water drinking supplies? Are they safe? Have you heard?

You know it WOULD HAVE to have been FIFTY TWO MILLION milligrams found in that bust, to kill 26 million people if the lethal dose is 2 milligrams ?

Does ANYONE question the ridiculous numbers that are put out by the Government and Media ???????????

You shouldn't have requested this thread to be closed because there's nothing wrong with it. It's basically just a CNN article explaining why fentanyl is bad. Jhikpghf

Curious why you thought this thread and your thread needed to be deleted? There have been at least 5 other threads on opioids/fentanyl and they remain unclosed? Why was this one special?

RE: The Extreme Danger of Fentanyl
I guess I'm not the only one to warn of a threat, several fentanyl threads have already warned of the danger:

https://www.google.com/url?q=http://luna...kcIK7IslEC

http://lunaticoutpost.com/post-229849.html

http://lunaticoutpost.com/thread-20499.html

http://lunaticoutpost.com/post-726892.html

I'm not concerned about my thread being closed, just that the message gets out that street drugs are now incredibly dangerous.

RE: The Extreme Danger of Fentanyl
There is an even more dangerous drug called Carfentanyl that is 100 times stronger than fentanyl. Just found it in a drug bust:

The opioid epidemic in Massachusetts is taking a treacherous turn. State police crime lab tests have, for the first time, confirmed the presence of carfentanil in drugs seized within Massachusetts.

This opioid, roughly 100 times more powerful than fentanyl, was never meant to be consumed by humans. Carfentanil is used to tranquilize large animals. Even then, you don't need much of it.

"You only need a couple of milligrams of carfentanil in order to put down an elephant," said Dr. Melisa Lai-Becker, a medical toxicologist with the Regional Center for Poison Control and Prevention in Boston. "You can imagine then that a couple of milligrams of carfentanil could knock out who knows how many tens of adult humans."
