Deadline Today For FBI To Turn Over Documents To Intel Chairman Nunes

(Tomorrow starts the purge.)

January 3rd, is the deadline presented by House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes for the FBI to turn over responsive documents, their field agent investigative notes and contact summaries.

The FBI Counterintelligence Division began an official investigation on/around July 15th, 2016. The target of the investigation was the Donald Trump campaign. The FBI has refused to answer questions or allow investigative oversight toward the origin of their endeavor.

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes has previously said he has instructed committee staff to begin drawing up a contempt of Congress resolution for Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray unless the committee’s demands for records are met.

House Intelligence Committee chairman Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., told an audience in Washington, D.C., Tuesday that if he finds evidence special counsel Robert Mueller was involved in the Uranium One scandal, he’ll seek to interview him.

Congress has every right to oversight over the FBI/DOJ. It's incredible that the agencies have been allowed to illegally ignore their requests.

It must be hitting a nerve because the lefties have been hitting Nunes hard today.

A contempt order may be the justification for Trump, perhaps through Sessions to fire Rosenstein. (And properly so.) Sally Yates is precedent for the action.

The "Deep State" is real.

A little used power of Congress is that of the Sergeant of Arms. The SOA has the unique right to arrest anyone including even the president for contempt of Congress.
It would take major cajones from a group that has none to physically bring Rosenstein forthwith before the committee. And even to incarcerate. But it's there.

Fuckery is afoot!

Rosenstein meeting with Paul Ryan about Russia investigation
01/03/18 04:59 PM EST

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein is meeting with Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) on Wednesday about the House Russia investigation, a GOP aide confirmed.

The meeting came at the request of Rosenstein, the aide said. FBI Director Christopher Wray also was invited to the meeting, but reporters did not see him.

No other information about the meeting and what was discussed was immediately made known.

A little more..

Rosenstein was spotted entering Ryan's office, and a spokesman for the speaker confirmed that Rosenstein and Wray had requested the meeting. A second person familiar with the meeting said it was related to a document request issued over the summer by House intelligence committee chairman Devin Nunes.

https://www.politico.com/story/2018/01/0...ice-322618

Please understand the significance of all this. This is ground zero of a constitutional crisis. The fact that Rosenstein would have the stones to go over Nunes' head to Ryan on the deadline day of a congressional oversight committee subpoena is nothing short of seditious .
This needs to be intensely monitored.

Sara Carter on Hannity just said Nunes will be getting the documents before midnight tonight. I sense some high stakes poker just got played today. Let's see how this pans out.
