well we got bugs n birds here as usual. ontario.

Not so much around here (45 min. N/W of Toronto), cc.

Summer nights used to be a cacaphony of insect noises around here, lots of wetlands and agricultural lands for them to party it up, now the nights are ominously subdued.

One poor lonely little firefly keeps buzzing around our deck every now an then.

Thread has been derailed by bluename shill/trolls.

What's new.

We just ignore them. People from many different areas have been noticing the declines.

In the UK for instance, people have even begun calling it the "windscreen phenomenon" in recent years, because windscreens don't get spattered with bugs anymore, like used to be the case in the past.

So, it's happening for real.

A huge clue around here, too.

So a few areas are normal, but there's an admitted scientific decline worldwide.
Like the record heat increase worldwide but some artificial ice nucleation fools enough people to think there's an ice age, lol.
People think their neighborhood is the whole world and can't do any research.

It's ok, you'll all be dead within 20 years and you wont even believe it when it happens.

They're gone here in Minnesota too.
No bugs on the car windshield.

They used to be a problem driving truck.
I wonder if any current drivers have noticed the lack of bugs?

Not many birds, no frogs, no cicadas, no crickets, no bats, it's just quiet
at night. We have a few fireflies, mosquitoes, and a few flies is all.

This is a doom thread for sure.

I've been noticing this too. Hardly any spider webs, no crickets, very few flies, not a lot of mosquitoes, minimal ants.

Nobody want to admit it but we are in the middle of our own extinction and only a fool or a paid shill would say otherwise!

How about putting a smile on someone face instead of a tear!

I guess I should open a Country Inn so people can come, stay for a $fortune/day, and see real life BUGS and birds and all sorts of other critters all roaming free.

Multitudes of insects in the Deep South USA this year. More than normal, actually. The wife and I were just talking of this no more than 10 minutes ago

I was just about to say maybe all the insects came to Texas for the winter. It’s been unusually buggy this spring. We just spent a week on the Brazos, and we don’t normally see a lot of bugs while we are on the water, but the damn things were EVERYWHERE. I was cooking breakfast outside and thought something awful had colonized the outside of our camper, because there were circular patches of quivering bugs. Turns out, some spiders had built webs flat against the outside walls and the webs were covered in gnats. *shudder*

The flys have gone extinct.

They're in NC....along with every imaginable crawly flying thing.....and the birds were so loud this morning they woke me up with their chatter...no shortage here....
Anywhere experiencing windy conditions are going to see a lessor observance....

I don't know if we're quite that close to extinction, But the mentality of many posters here is disturbing, Mostly bluenames.

"Oh there's plenty of bugs and birds where i live, Everything's Fine."

I guess they are programmed to think that way, Part of a hive mind that can't seem to think for themselves.
