What "someone" can seize your property "legally"?
Popcorn

Hence the illusion of you owning it, particularly when it involves an arrangement one has no real say in.

So you have no answer what mysterious "someone" can legally seize your property.
I didn't think you did.

For a property? No. You're lying

For property.
The thing you claim I don't have.
My property.
My stuff.
My things.
Objects I have ownership of.

Dont insert "a" where there was none so you can call me a liar.

No I didn't.
Quote it and prove this slanderous allegation.

You declared the remove of "a" in a property, which changes the meaning for anyone with a brain. You also objected to "significant". Again the meaning of what I said/posted changes if the word is omitted.

I spoke of you adding an "a" as you can clearly see.
You lie rather than provide evidence.

I called "significant" a wiggle word.
Meaning you would use it to move the goalpost.

Yes, comprehension is your friend.
Specific examples of a broader topic to not limit the general to the specific.

Yoir fallacious demand that only the specific example cited exclude trucks, motorcycles, boats, airplanes, condos, duplexs, apartment buildings, raw land....

You're projecting your intentional stupidity.
I suggest you stop.

Property was specified in the OP and to anyone with a brain refered to in my post which is the one you quoted. Apologies if I assumed you had at least basic reading comprehension.

Property tax was specifically mentioned not "property".
A house and a car were specifically mentioned as examples.
The OP was right there and you still lie about it. Why?

I prefer you apologize for the numerous lies you're telling.

You really are dumber than a box of rocks. You go right ahead and pay property tax on a pair of significant shoes.

That's about right.

In the "land of the free", you own nothing and have to seek permission from the Stae to do pretty much anything of any significance. The State owns all and can withdraw all privileges at any time.

So "significance" is your wiggle word.
I have sold property to other individuals without permission. Is that significant?

Sure the state can assert ownership at any time for a variety of made up reasons but you have to be pretty silly to think the state "owns" the nick nacks floating around the average home.

Do you

RE: IN THE USA you don't really own anything !
That's absolutely the wrong way of looking at it.

Visit another country. You have dirt roads, little or bad quality water, modern housing is near unaffordable because of lack of materials or skilled labor, no parks, benches, or safe and well maintained outdoor places. No ones educated.

Compare that with modern highways and infrastructure, houses everywhere you go, beautiful scenery thanks to innovation to get resources safer and more eco-friendly, parks and well-design public places everywhere. Free or affordable college (some places)- and it's all yours, actually.

And for mere pennies on the dollar. It's a pretty sweet deal if you ask someone who isn't fortunate enough to live in a first-world country.

It would only be mandatory if you weren't allowed to leave and live wherever in the world you please. And you can. You could sell everything you own and retire with a small fortune if it's the right country. I hope you don't lol

After the housing bubble and the bank bailouts, my generation is poorer and housing is un-affordable because the bailouts were engineered to keep housing prices inflated.

I have one friend who lost his home to back taxes, and my ex wife is battling the auction every year because she can't pay off the back taxes, penalties and interest. Best she can do is pay one year plus some penalties to avoid the auction, so she's stuck in housing insecurity.

I support public education, and amenities but something needs to give;

Either raise wages or lower costs or both.

A modest increase in wages coupled with a moderate reduction in costs of living would be one way to reduce our stress.

So some authoritarianism lite.
A gentle total control by government to make things easier for you.

RE: IN THE USA you don't really own anything !
We truly do not own our homes in America.

Every citizen really needs to unite together to fight and eliminate property tax. And also eliminate income tax.

Otherwise we will never own our own homes, and we will never truly be prosperous.

REMEMBER, that the scumbag State and Govt can increase property taxes at any time (of course under the guise of it being for a "worthy"cause) and force all of us to lose our homes.

They have the power to cause each and every common person here to lose their home. They are not supposed to have this authority!!!

Who would pay for roads, fire and police protection, and public education if there weren't property taxes? The people that own property want these things. Property tax is increased when people vote in new bond measures.

My guess is that you don't own any real estate. Leave the thinking on this one to the people that do. Just write your monthly check to the landlord and be a happy idiot.
