You're making sh*t up as you go, GL.

"... about 60% of Germany's gas was imported from Russia..."

"... But gas makes up less than 20% of Germany's energy mix for power production... "

https://www.bbc.com/news/business-44794688

In other words, merely 12% of Germany energy "comes from Russian gas"

BMW , Mercedes Benc , Audi and Volkswagon . These four companies , alone , ensure that the Germans get magnificent trade deals across the planet .
These four do not even scratch the surface . They have a powerful economy

GL what are your suggestions for Germanys energy/trade ?

he wants us to buy American gas
and coal

on a side note: the coal plant where my dad used to work for decades will be demolished next week
we're having windmills meanwhile
maintained by a local middle class engineering business

Genuine question. .

What would be your preference if they both boosted the economy equally (incuding distribution of that wealth) ?

Im in Scotland , our mining industry died and we have a lot of "wind farms" now

Those windmills and power-lines are a bankers wet-dream.
The people never pay off the loans on those until they are obsolete
and they have to start over with new ones and new loans.

I very much prefer the windmills
I grew up with coal, we could never wear white clothes
they went dirty grey in less than two hours
I grew up believing snot was naturally black
took a whole year living on the northern coast to see it's not
so no, no more coal burning for me
