Humans evolved in small groups across diverse environs in Africa

"The evolution of human populations in Africa was multi-regional," said researcher Eleanor Scerri. "Our ancestry was multi-ethnic."

July 11 (UPI) -- New research has offered an unprecedented look at early human evolution in Africa.

The study, which combined fossil surveys, genetic analysis and climate modeling, suggests early humans evolved in semi-isolated groups -- not as a large, cohesive population, as some assumed.

The ecological diversity found across Africa explains the fragmented nature of early human evolution, researchers argue. Both genetic signatures and the distribution of artifacts reflect a lack of connectivity among early human populations.

"We see indications of reduced connectivity very deep in the past, some very old genetic lineages, and levels of overall diversity that a single population would struggle to maintain," Mark Thomas, geneticist at University College London, said in a news release.

"as some assumed"

One's level of ignorance would have to be excessive to make such an assumption. Just looking at the present diversity of African people makes it pretty obvious.

2 million year old tools discovered outside of Africa completely destroys the out of Africa hypothesis. China & Russia have never supported the out of Africa mumbo jumbo.

We are still evolving :-)

We are not. Evolution requires that the weak perish and the strong survive.

We are doing the opposite. We keep our weak on life support, tell them they are special, and extend every right and liberty to them so they can breed and pass on their bad genes.

The majority of the people here are probably related to at least 1 disabled person. If not immediate family, then extended. That should gravely concern you. Because 10 generations from now, those genes are going to be mixed into the majority of the population.

I wonder if across Earth's history, has any other species devolved like we are? Probably not. Our devolution is a unique combination of medical technology, politics, and morality that no other animal species would ever possess. Natural selection doesn't work like humans do.

We didn't start out as monkeys/humans.

Hard to believe millions of years of evolution of us, all took place in Africa.

They always talk like we started to exist in Africa first and then moved out. But they say it in a way that sounds like they start out that story from the point where we where somewhere between ape and modern human ape.

I find it hard to believe our branch of the family never left Africa all the time we are on earth.

There's a school of thought that believes the continents were once one single land mass. Hence we would all have started out in a single continent. I.e. Africa.

Why the F#CK is India all Indian?
Why The F#CK Europa and Russia Entirely White?

You Can take CHALK Likes to the Earth 2000 Years Ago!
The Earth was Racially Territorialy Divided.

India and China too.

Even in England tools have been found to discredit many OoA theories.

As for what was once in North America? We don't know. Anything prior to 12,000 years ago was squashed or flooded by glaciers.

The truth of the matter is, we haven't been here in our present form more than a few hundred years. Show me all the tombstones/ graves from the 1400's and 1500's ????

And some of those groups left Africa a very long time ago and arrived in Europe and Asia where they continued to evolve for tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of years.

RE: Humans evolved in small groups across diverse environs in Africa
This SHOULD be something of a no brainer as evolution occurs across all genetic lines and tribes/bands of individuals fan out as population increases due to the limited carrying capacity of any given area. Inevitably, bands cross paths in time and interbreeding occurs thereby sharing new mutations across the majority of the species.

There is not One SHRED of Evidence ASIANS Evolved In Africa.
