Donald Trump Didn’t Want to Be President

Is the title of an article by Michael Wolff at

http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/201...trump.html

The thesis is that Trump did not expect to win, but rather to enhance his personal brand, thus ensuring both his ability to sell his name, as well as increase the price.

..."Even though the numbers in a few key states had appeared to be changing to Trump’s advantage, neither Conway nor Trump himself nor his son-in-law, Jared Kushner — the effective head of the campaign — wavered in their certainty: Their unexpected adventure would soon be over. Not only would Trump not be president, almost everyone in the campaign agreed, he should probably not be. Conveniently, the former conviction meant nobody had to deal with the latter issue."...

*****************************

If this is true, and it may well be, then we have elected an ignorant ass by accident! Which doesn't say much for Hillary or our "democratic" process. It was basically a business ploy by a man who did not expect to be elected.

Any rational thoughts?

I'm almost certain the demise of United States democracy is in the works.

Trump is increasing the revenue of his BRAND with the Presidency.
In fact the USA is over-saturated with the Trump brand.

Trump is a modern day Cincinattus, who has no desire to rule but does so out of duty and love of country.

Yet he is the best president we've had since the days of Teddy Roosevelt.

The only thing the left can elect to office, are traitors, communists, muslim terrorists and homosexuals, and that was just Obama.

The LORD thunders at the head of his army; his forces are beyond number,
and mighty is the army that obeys his command.
The day of the LORD is great; it is dreadful. Who can endure it?

He has prepared his entire for it, in one way or another. So glad he won. Oh, my GOD, I'm so glad Killary isn't screaming down our throats with her falseness, lack of charisma, and total lack of honesty and trust.

We got ourselves a damn good President this time, for the first time in decades. Daily prayers for him and his family from untold numbers of grateful people.

Howard Stern said this. He said that Trump wanted Hillary to win. Who knows what the truth is though.

A communist, a homosexual, and a Muslim walks into a bar. Obama orders a drink chuckle
