Back in the day CT was cool, when all we had was a small community of kooks reading obscure books about shape shifting lIzard people. Now its boring, with every normie on Farce[/sign]book posting about CT.

so being one of the deplorables has gone mainstream? It's no longer the domain of closet nerds and X-files groupees?

My thinking is that the internet has blown open the walls of secrecy that kept so much corruption hidden from sight and as a result ordinary people are being roughly informed about some of what is really going on and a lot of crap that low iq normies and quacks imagine.

CT has always been a business. Once it was practiced by obscure authors and an occasional entertainment foray, now there is a huge "populist" alternative media on the right and left that markets both real and imagined conspiratorial content. Often for political purposes. Often for commercial reasons.

The "truth" is more obscured then ever before. Is there a law of unintended consequences?

Guess I'm a loser then. And proud of it if that's the case. Besides that's not the worst insult I've heard in past 24 hrs. Conspiracy theorists activate

He defines losers as anyone who isn't one of the 1%ers, so that's nearly everybody then.

Conspiring is all the Vatican has to do.

Well, that and throwing parties screwing, sacrificing children to Satan and eating children and drinking their blood.

There are real conspiracies. For example, Big Oil conspires to inform public opinion on climate science. However, a lot of the conspiracies in the CT community over last fifteen years or so are nonsense.

Come on... so you don't believe the reason hot dog buns are sold in packages of 8, and hot dogs are sold in 10 packs, is to keep you buying hot dogs? ...Wake up!

Does anyone remember "puzzlin' evidence" from Talking Heads' True Stories?

Lotta truth and foresight .... but oblivious to the influence of the Vatican and the Revelation.
