Nevermind. Only the first 2 parts of the DL were 1.76 GB. The last one was only 343 MB. After I downloaded the 2nd part that site notified me that I had exceeded the bandwidth allowed for a particular time from, so I either had to create a membership and pay or wait 45 minutes to download the 3rd part. I waited, because I'm cheap.

Who the hell doesn't wait? I've waited weeks before to download a single Neo Geo rom on a 56k modem...

You get 94% downloaded and... oops, connection lost.... Start over again...

Remember FTP?

I had a friend who worked for Real Networks. He gave me access to free Realplayer and other software on his personal ftp. I thought I was internet royalty... Now no one even knows what RealPlayer is...

You can get emulators and roms here:

https://www.emuparadise.me/

No weird joining of files needed.

I got Castlevania from there. I did bookmark that one. Probably the best site for decent roms. I just don't want to go through the effort of downloading every game individually. Unfortunately I couldn't find any rom sets or rom packs there for the N64. That site is great for sega, MAME, NES, and SNES though, among other things. I could download about 800 games from there for N64 but it would all have to be done individually, and it would take some time.

It's not that I'm that lazy, but more that N64 is probably the cartidge console that I'm least familiar with, so I don't know what games I really want to get. I'd rather just get the library and sift through it. It seems more fun that way. I gots a usb wired N64 controller coming in the mail within the week.

I love the old consoles. They are so much fun. I still fire up my old NES from time to time.

Oh man. That sucks. Are you talking about dial-up? And yes. We will always wait before we pay. It's what the internet is for, Skip. I pay for certain things, but certainly not things I think I can get for free. You know what I mean.

How can you get a file to unzip itself using micro sd card?
Can i unzip the file and put just the packets on the microsd?
Can i write adb shell push\ or something like that in front of it to get it to fire up?

Sounds like you are trying to unleash a payload. The worst ones are the USB thumb drives that are actually storing a massive payload of electricity to unleash onto an unexpecting motherboard.

I don't mess with that s hit, but I made a point to learn about it.

I know it could reak havoc ,i actually knew of that skill six years ago but forgot.i never knew it just knew of it.
I promise no nefariousness.i just want to recover my tablet.
Thing is,if this was done right.a guy could make mula overnighting sd cards for folks to recover phones.
The sad and disgruntled person with a brickedish phone could pay $9.99 for an overnighted sd card.installs it and turns tablet or phone on.bam!
Fixed.no headaches or programming needed!
Hell id pay thirty dollars to get mine fixed that way.

Okay, I guess once the files are all in the same location and same folder, you must hold control while you click them all, and EXTRACT THEM AT THE SAME TIME. I was trying to extract them individually then merge them, because I'm stupid with computers.

That solved the problem and my emulator will open all of the games now. I just have to wait for my usb wired N64 control to get here, then I can explore the library. Thanks for the input everybody. Much appreciated. Heartflowers
