Instant Checkmate
Ever try Googling someone only to come up with basic information and maybe a link or two to an outdated social media profile? There’s a new website going around that promises to reveal much more than just a simple google search can show you.

Been issued a speeding ticket? Failed to stop at a stop sign? What about your family members? And friends? If you are like most of us, the answer to at least one of those questions is “yes” — the vast majority of us have slipped up at least once or twice.

Instant Checkmate aggregates hundreds of millions of publicly available criminal, traffic, and arrest records and posts them online so they can easily be searched by anyone. Members of the site can literally begin searching within seconds, and are able to check as many records as they like (think: friends, family, neighbors, etc. etc.).

USA, The IV REICH - The Deathbed Confessions of Otto Skorzeny
Otto Skorzeny, who came to the U.S. after the war under Project Paperclip, was Hitler's favorite bodyguard and SS spy/assassin. Probably his most famous operation was the spectacular deliverance of Benito Mussolini from a remote mountain hotel. Alistar Maclean, author of twenty-nine world bestsellers and one of the all-time great thriller writers, used this for his book 'Where Eagles Dare' . The film with Clint Eastwood, Richard Burton, Maximilian Schell still is one of the best war movies ever made.

At the very end of his life Otto Skorzeny allowed one journalist - who had made quite an impeccable name for himself, to write down his mighty interesting 'memoirs'. And he had photos too, to support his claims. One of them being that George Bush Sr., aka George H. Scherf(f), the 41st U.S. president, was in fact a Nazi-spy.

Since Skorzeny’s death in 1999, the various leads he provided have been followed up and tend to support what, at first blush, would appear to be the unbelievable rantings of an embittered old man.

btw: "What was Skorzeny's reason to spill the beans on his 'Old Comrades?" you might ask. Indeed, a meal that is best served cold. Revenge with a capital 'R'. - they stole $30 million worth of gold from him.

The deathbed confessions of Otto Skorzeny - and his photos, are a FASCINATING read, and connect lots of dots.

The Internet Archive

The Internet Archive, a 501©(3) non-profit, is building a digital library of Internet sites and other cultural artifacts in digital form. Like a paper library, we provide free access to researchers, historians, scholars, and the general public.

Why the Archive is Building an 'Internet Library'
Libraries exist to preserve society's cultural artifacts and to provide access to them. If libraries are to continue to foster education and scholarship in this era of digital technology, it's essential for them to extend those functions into the digital world.

Many early movies were recycled to recover the silver in the film. The Library of Alexandria - an ancient center of learning containing a copy of every book in the world - was eventually burned to the ground. Even now, at the turn of the 21st century, no comprehensive archives of television or radio programs exist.

But without cultural artifacts, civilization has no memory and no mechanism to learn from its successes and failures. And paradoxically, with the explosion of the Internet, we live in what Danny Hillis has referred to as our "digital dark age."

The Internet Archive is working to prevent the Internet - a new medium with major historical significance - and other "born-digital" materials from disappearing into the past. Collaborating with institutions including the Library of Congress and the Smithsonian, we are working to preserve a record for generations to come. Open and free access to literature and other writings has long been considered essential to education and to the maintenance of an open society. Public and philanthropic enterprises have supported it through the ages.

ANTIQUITATEM
1001 deeds, sayings, curiosities and anecdotes of the ancient world

ANTIQUITATEM is the result of the combined efforts of an old professor of Latin who has always been in love with the Old World, a young computer engineer, and a telecommunications engineer in the role of a willful English translator.

The content is aimed at a general reader interested in the Ancient World, without any specialization. But that does not mean that the articles and the information provided is not rigorous, but on the contrary, as befits a serious work.
