The scary thing is that it's dressed up so much as something positive. Look at Trump supporters. They look upon this charismatic fellow almost like a liberator, but he'll bring about a different kind of tyranny.

he is a liberator. Just you watch. If anybody else goes in there, this country is f**ked

Started with protection, protection from drugs, tobacco and emissions.
Richard Nixon.
Laws to protect people from themselves.
You cannot burn a plant and inhale the smoke in any indoor public place and for at least some plants it is illegal to smoke them in any place.

Italy’s Most Racist Politician Comes to Philly to Help Donald Trump

The Mussolini-loving Matteo Salvini came to Philadelphia to campaign for The Donald, forming a dangerous bromance between bigots.

“Matteo, I hope you will soon become the prime minister of Italy,” Trump said, according to ANSA news service. Salvini then returned the sentiment, saying he hoped the Republican hopeful would be elected to the White House on Nov. 8.

The Italian politician is widely known in Italy and throughout Europe for his radical right-wing rallies, during which it is common for him to slip on a black shirt to pay homage to the Fascist era. His rallies have often included people waving photos of Benito Mussolini, who he has praised for his “efficiency” and “dedication” to the country.

He counts among his friends some of the most xenophobic politicians in Europe. He has repeatedly invited French right-wing politician Marine Le Pen to speak at Northern League rallies and she has had him speak at at least one National Front rally in which she said, “He sends me into ecstasy” when she introduced him.

Salvini praises Mussolini: "He did many good things"

"Mussolini did so many good things in the first twenty years of the racial laws and the alliance with Hitler." Mosquito on the microphones of Radio 24, Matteo Salvini.

it is the fear of death, frustration of sexual will to have sex with all the super young hotties. concomittant fear of death and desire to die creates 'death energy' or unpleasant life tension. there is pleasant life tension which results in consciousness, and there is 'stress consciousness' or what scientology would call 'engrams' but the connotation in scientology is slightly different. not a conflicting will, but rather 'emotional memories' but the most important aspect of emotional memories or 'engrams' is how they affect the will

as Jesus said, 'a house divided against itself cannot stand' when they accused him of casting out demons by the power of Satan.

Pre-911 it was covert.

Since then they're not even trying to hide it, nor do they care.

Yep. There are no historical precedents for this in Germany.

Anti-immigrant AfD says Muslims not welcome in Germany

Members of the anti-immigration party Alternative for Germany (AfD) on Sunday backed an election manifesto that says Islam is not compatible with the constitution and calls for a ban on minarets and the burqa.

Opinion polls give AfD support of up to 14 percent.

In a raucous debate on the second day of a party congress, many of the 2,000 members cheered calls from the podium for measures against "Islamic symbols of power" and jeered a plea for dialogue with Germany's Muslims.

"Islam is foreign to us and for that reason it cannot invoke the principle of religious freedom to the same degree as Christianity," said Hans-Thomas Tillschneider, an AfD lawmaker from the state of Saxony-Anhalt, to loud applause.

The chapter of the AfD manifesto concerning Muslims is entitled "Islam is not a part of Germany". The manifesto demands a ban to minarets - the towers of a mosque from where the call to Muslim prayer is made - and the burqa, the all-encompassing body garment worn by some conservative Muslim women.

RE: We are witnessing the rise of global authoritarianism on a chilling scale
France, UK, Germany: The rebirth of fascism in Europe

The rise of far-right movements and the conservative rhetoric establishing a new otherness in Western politics in general and in European contexts in particular, has drawn attention to the dangers of a new wave of fascism, or neo-fascism, rising against Europe's minorities, refugees, migrants and particularly toward Muslims, in recent years.

On April 12, French Prime Minister Manuel Valls said that France should ban headscarves in universities, proposed as his way of fighting extremist ideology. This was, in a way, calling for an expansion of the ban that was imposed for primary and secondary schools in 2004.

On March 30, France's Minister for Women's Rights Laurence Rossignol said that fashion companies launching lines targeting Muslim women are being "irresponsible," as they promote oppression of women's bodies.

In the U.K., Conservative party politics have also given way to the rise of Islamophobic and anti-migrant sentiments. In January, Prime Minister David Cameron announced a 20 million pound fund to "teach Muslim women to speak English." This was Cameron's proposal to confront extremism.

It is also noteworthy to mention that in 2015, hate crimes showed an overall increase of nearly 20 percent in the U.K., according to data released by the government. In 2014-15, there were 52,528 hate crimes recorded by the police, an increase of 18 percent compared with the 44,471 recorded in 2013-14. The number of race-related hate crimes increased 15 percent, and over the same period, religious hate crime increased 43 percent.

The situation in Germany, the EU superpower, is similar to both France and the U.K. The xenophobic and anti-Islam group, the Patriotic Europeans Against the Islamization of the West (PEGIDA) has held many rallies, demonstrating against refugees and Muslims. Despite Chancellor Angela Merkel's efforts for refugees, the country has seen a spike in anti-Islam, anti-migrant sentiments, including personal attacks and attacks on property belonging to foreigners.

When European history of the last 100 years is revisited, there are a handful of moments where fascism ruled over diverse or egalitarian societies. One aspect of fascism can be defined in the simplest terms as authoritarian nationalism. This is what Benito Mussolini achieved in Italy in the early 1920s and what Adolf Hitler promoted in Germany from 1920 to 1945 . Spain also had its fling with fascism with Francisco Franco from 1939 until his death in 1975.

Such examples and their aim of establishing superiority over others are still fresh memories.

The post-9/11 world order and the recent conflicts in the Middle East has forced the other to seek refuge in Europe. The Syrian civil war and its resulting refugees pouring onto European shores has brought forward a surge of neo-fascist movements that now have to deal with the threat of the other within their borders. Through immigration or asylum seeking, nationalist or fascist resentment rises.

RE: We are witnessing the rise of global authoritarianism on a chilling scale
Leftists claim the right to protest entails breaking things, arson, and lynching people who disagree with them.

When someone says that is illegal and they will be arrested and charged, that is "fascism, anti-democratic, hate speech."

We know the truth. The hate speech is on the part of the protesters, such as the ones who burned down Ferguson, and Baltimore.

Trump is the First Estate, Second Estate, Third Estate, and Fourth Estate. In his hands lie the salvation of this nation.

Everything has to be fitted into an existing, Politically explainable box, for purposes of both description and, control of perception of meaning.

Truth is, we don't need carefully steered political analysis, we need to represent things with freer descriptive powers. Freedom is what we seek, we don't care what else they want to call it.

German Populists Forge Ties with Russia

The right-wing populist, anti-refugee Alternative for Germany party is establishing ever-closer ties with Moscow. Now, the AfD's youth wing has forged an alliance with the youth movement of Putin's party United Russia.

AfD's Young Alternative's most important foreign policy contact to date took place just last week. Last Wednesday afternoon, Markus Frohnmaier and his JA co-head Sven Tritschler, sat down over a beer in Berlin. They had just had a successful meeting with a partner: Robert Schlegel, a member of the Duma, the Russian parliament, and a leading official with Putin's United Russia party. Schlegel and the JA leaders reached agreement on a new partnership between the Young Guard, the youth wing of Putin's party, and its counterpart in the AfD.

JA head Markus Frohnmaier often takes trips to regions in which NATO is considered to be an aggressor and Russia to be the last hope for a "multipolar world. Last summer, he took a trip to contested eastern Ukraine to visit the "Donbass Forum," where Frohnmaier discussed "Peace for Ukraine" together with Manuel Ochsenreiter, a prominent right-wing writer with the New Right movement and Jean-Luc Schaffhauser of France's Front National.

AfD's deputy party head Gauland says he has "no reservations whatsoever" about the alliance between JA and the Putin youth. In St. Petersburg, Gauland met with members of the Duma, a personal advisor to Putin and Alexander Dugin, a neo-fascist, anti-Western ideologist whose ideas are taken seriously by the Kremlin.

U.S. doubles down on Egypt's dictator

Abdel Fattah el-Sissi has been trampling human rights, the rule of law and freedom of the press since he became Egypt's president two years ago.

El-Sissi said Wednesday through an official statement that the human rights situation in Egypt should not be approached from a "Western perspective," and he warned that the "fall of nation states" in the Middle East could fuel the rise of terrorism. According to the statement, Sissi made these points to a visiting congressional delegation led by House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Michael McCaul.

While the delegation was meeting with Egyptian leaders, the Egyptian police were holding back dozens of journalists who were protesting recent arrests of two colleagues. They were accused of "spreading false news and endangering national security."

American lawmakers who had previously sought to restrict U.S. aid to Egypt told el-Sissi that they were now more willing to work with him and his government, despite their ongoing concerns about his treatment of his people.

Lindsey Graham, the chairman of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Foreign Operations, had been one of Sissi's toughest critics. After visiting Cairo in April and meeting for two hours with el-Sissi, he told us that he has changed his mind.

"I think he is somebody we can do business with. I think he's the right guy at the right time, but his actions will determine if I'm right or wrong," Graham said.

House Speaker Paul Ryan also led a delegation to Cairo in April. He told reporters upon his return that his delegation raised the issue of recent state crackdowns on civil society.

The shift of congressional criticism from public to private interactions with el-Sissi and his government is in line with the Obama administration. Secretary of State John Kerry has recently tempered his 2013 claims that el-Sissi was in the process of "restoring democracy" in Egypt, but Kerry maintains that U.S. aid should continue to flow.

Kerry's State Department has repeatedly used waivers in legislation to release billions of dollars in military aid to Egypt, even though the Egyptian government has not met congressional benchmarks on reform and progress on human rights.

Some Egypt experts see the U.S. easing of pressure on Egypt as contributing to long-term instability.

"A lot of people are looking at Egypt and saying el-Sissi's policies are actively leading in the direction of collapse and the government is actively pursuing policies that are destabilizing the country," said Cole Bockenfeld, deputy director for policy at the Project on Middle East Democracy. "We are repeating the mistakes of the past. The U.S. is hoping to sustain the status quo, which by every indicator isn't sustainable."

Congress and President Obama are propping up the jailer of the protesters they once encouraged.
