It's every Brits duty to vote Out if they value what our ancestors have fought and died for. It's sad and really shouldn't have to be this way. Everyone was happy with being in a visa free trade zone, then they went and spoilt it by getting greedy for Power.

RE: Countdown to UK EU referendum
Hey Brits do not fear voting out, even if you lose the visa free zone

Me as a German for example would never refuse british people if they want to travel, work or live here, and I do not know any other German(normal people, not some douchy politicians) who thinks different on thisCheers

Do we really need some burocratic, unvoted and overpayed EU-crap to unite the Europeans in peace? I don't think so

Sadly Richy,

Our type are just pissing in the wind..

Most UK idiots will do as they are told....Fear is the most basic human instinct, then greed ....Too many I meet are scared of losing what they have got. They all listen to mainstream media and project fear has made them all give up any bluster they had in their sails....

I hate to admit defeat....But most Brits are selfish little me me me wankers...

Pisses me off after realising what our Grandads fought for...But Germany gets to win the long game in the end.

Bump agree with you both.

Our society nowadays is all "I'm all right Jack", never for the greater good of the country and people anymore.
If I was going to loose £10 a week or something because we vote to leave, I would still vote out. We all have to make sacrifices for a greater good, but people do not think like that any more.
God, our grand parents had 6 years of hardship in the war, it was a struggle, but there was light at the end of the tunnel.

Shame those with exclusively British ancestry & expats living abroad who've been priced out of London, etc. can't vote. Guess a person only counts as indigenous somewhere if they wear animal skins and hunt their dinner with a spear.

RE: Countdown to UK EU referendum
Couple of interesting polls.

Average lead of 4% for "Remain".
2% lead in 1 poll for "leave", when "not likely to vote" removed from poll.
----------

Britain's 'In' campaign leads by 4 percent points: JPMorgan poll analysis

In an analysis of recent polling data, JPMorgan said the "In" campaign averaged 47.2 percent in the last week of April while "Out" averaged 43.3 percent with 8.1 percent who said they didn't know how to vote.

"The bottom line is that 'remain' appears to have a near 4 percentage point lead over 'leave,'" JPMorgan said in a note for clients.

"That lead has narrowed from around an 8 percentage point lead in late February, but has been reasonably stable over the last handful of weeks," the bank said.

ICM poll says 46 pct of Britons would vote to leave EU

The poll found 46 percent would vote "Out", up one percentage point from the previous ICM poll on May 3, while 44 percent would support staying in the bloc, unchanged from the previous survey.

Just got back from Spain today...Went to Jalon valley rented a nice villa with pool the usual...

Anyway I met up with quite a few ex pats all older in their mid 50s to 70s and all of them will vote in at least the ones that still can..

Guess why.....

Everyone of them said due to the Spanish health system looking after them in their late ages ....

So you can see people only vote for themselves....I told them I thought that was rather selfish.....They said they didn't care..

Yep most Brits out for everything they can get.....

RE: Countdown to UK EU referendum
for it to be decisive it would need to be a big majority lead either way. a few % points means that the country is undecided.

RE: Countdown to UK EU referendum
Since May 1, all polls put Remain and Leave within 4% points of each other.

Data suggests Remain campaign needs at least 4% poll lead, as Leave voters reportedly more likely to vote in referendum.

RE: Countdown to UK EU referendum
I'm sorry bro's....I don't understand how the EU works because I never bothered to learn about it....quite frankly...it was not my problem.

From what i do know, it sounds kind of oppressive and dominating....but that is a shallow view and understanding.

A lot of you guys seem to have done just great before the inception of the EU....don't know why you wouldn't again if you choose to bow out.

It looks....from my outside point of view....like a grand illusion to hide extreme socialism and totalitarianism....the member states will conform to the wishes of the EU or else....am I seeing that wrong?

I love the Greeks...I love their food, their culture and their history...but c'mon. You gotta work...you gotta produce something the world wants to buy...and you have to manage your money well. They don't seem to do any of those things. Why should their shortfalls be a burden on say....Ireland or the UK?

"I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it." Thomas Jefferson

"Liberty means responsibility, which is why most men dread it." George Bernard Shaw

"Republics decline into democracies and democracies degenerate into despotism"...Aristotle
