So let’s reiterate

Productivity has soared

Prices have crashed

Wages have remained flat

Time to raise price of labor for the rich

99% Estate tax.

Letting a private corporation print a nation's money supply with zero regulation or oversight. What could go wrong?

Exactly so let’s regulate wages instead

The fed reserve is the rich creation

What will that accomplish?

You do know there is a way around that right sparky!

As long as productivity outpaces wage growth

Which it does and will continue to do

Prices will not rise

Trust me I am an economist do not diasagree with Me

sure there is it goes like this.

I do it so now try and get around it

My LLC has a board of directors and I am the chairman. I have 1000 shares and all of the assets(home, cars, bank accounts, etc) belong to the LLC. In my charter is specifically states when I die my shares are dissolved and my children get 500 shares each and are now the chair and co-chair. Nothing was transferred and nothing was sold or given, the company owns it. IRS can't do a thing.

I vote for a minimum standard of income. In fact the central banks print your money out for you and hand it to the wealthy. They in turn gamble it away or hide it in foundations or offshore accounts. This money is the peoples and they should not be compelled to submit to slavery to gain access to it. This creates distortions of every kind all up and down the society.

Instead of raising the minimum wage, they should LOWER the PRICES on EVERYTHING! Cut everything 20% off! Then people could actually afford to buy something.

Better still, put a ceiling on % profit. Anything above that % goes into investing into the company and wages.

If you stopped rent seeking (that is, collecting money for having money in the first place, I.E. stocks and rents.), you could drop prices by that amount.

Easy.

What I don't get is why governments can't raise money from shares. It could decrease the amount of tax needed. (but of course that goes hand in hand with not paying for politicians to live like Rockafella)

Every time they raise minimum wage, other jobs aren't increased proportionally. There is no raise across the board. The bottom feeders just get pushed up to earn what's considered to be middle of the road jobs.

My job requires an Associates degree. I'm making close to 30k a year right now, which is roughly $15 an hour.

$20 an hour? Sure I'll get a raise, but people who are currently making $20 an hour won't.

They keep doing this and eventually what we will have is Communist Russia, where everyone working any job makes the same amount of money. Then we will collapse for the same reason. Why should I care about my job when less skilled people make the same that I do? Why should I work hard, when lazy people make the same that I do?

The wage stagnation is terrible.

Your reason from not increasing minimun wage is that those already on the amount it's increased to will have sour grapes?

Really? That's a reason to force working people into the menury of permanent debt?

Maybe your attitude is the reason your degree only gets you $15 an hour.
