lawyer for Christina Blasey Ford—the woman accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault—raised concerns on Monday about the setup for a public hearing where Ford will testify later this week.

Michael R. Bromwich, a lawyer for Ford, said in a letter to Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), the chairman of the Judiciary Committee, that the plan for Thursday's public hearing "does not appear designed to provide Dr. Blasey Ford with fair and respectful treatment."

The letter casts some doubt on the deal Ford's team made with Senate Judiciary leaders to appear at a hearing on Thursday.

Bromwich in the letter pointed to the hiring of "an unnamed 'experienced sex crimes prosecutor,'" warning it could help turn the Judiciary Committee hearing into a "circus."

She demands a hearing, she gets her hearing.

And she doesn't like the time.
And she doesn't like the format.
And she wants to go last - even though she hasn't put out a coherent story.
And she wants to control who questions her.
And she wants to control who is in the room.
And she doesn't want to talk to lawyers.
And she wants to control the witness list.
And she wants to control the scope.
And she "doesn't want it to be a circus" - even though it is Democrats who have made this a circus.
And she wants "appropriate security".
And she doesn't want Kavanaugh in the room.
And she hasn't bothered to submit her written testimony.

It is a hearing. You show up, they question you.

She is such a prima donna that it would be hard to take her seriously even if she weren't lying.
