RE: BEEP BEEP : CAT 3 HURRICANE INCOMING FLORIDA / RED TIDE ???
Why is this one different?
Movement, warm water temps, and possible rapid intensification before landfall.
The coastal area where the eyewall comes ashore will be the hardest hit.
Still time to leave those areas.
Keep in mind once the hurricane makes landfall, nobody is coming to save you.
This will be combination wind and storm surge event.
This is bad, and it's not one you can "ride out".

Hurricane Michael May Be Florida Panhandle's Strongest Landfall in 13 Years With Life-Threatening Storm Surge, Damaging Winds, Flooding Rain

https://weather.com/storms/hurricane/new...-carolinas

-Michael is expected to landfall along the Florida Panhandle Gulf Coast Wednesday.
-Dangerous storm surge, damaging winds and flooding rain are likely impacts along the northeast Gulf Coast.
-Hurricane warnings and storm surge warnings have been issued along the Gulf coast of Florida.
-Heavy rain and strong winds will spread farther inland across parts of the Southeast after landfall.

Hurricane Michael is forecast to strike the Florida Panhandle at least at Category 3 intensity driving life-threatening storm surge flooding, destructive winds and flooding rainfall. Michael will also spread heavy rain and strong winds to other parts of the southeastern United States after it moves inland.

"Michael could develop into a potentially catastrophic event for the northeastern Gulf Coast," the National Weather Service office in Tallahassee, Florida, wrote in its area forecast discussion Monday afternoon. Michael could be the strongest hurricane to landfall along the stretch of Florida's Panhandle Gulf Coast in 13 years.

Hope it gets torn to pieces before landfall. I'm watching that front plowing eastward in the lower central and upper Midwest. At the least this will be a very active shift. Praying Michael gets shutdown.

I'm here to chew bubble gum. So you better give me some.
