Saudis admitting it was an interrogation gone wrong? Why did they have a bone saw with them?

Why do you believe all this stuff?
Jeff Bezos owns the Washington Post.
Khashoggi is probably CIA.
Who knows what if anything REALLY happened?

I feel this is a very manipulated story. I think it has been concocted to serve a specific objective that has nothing to do with truth.

I think they hire script writers to write these news stories. PR people and out of work scriptwriters and then a station chief to sign off on it before it winds it's way to Reuters or the AP or al Jeezera or some other controlled media outlet.

I'm not buying the "I was cleaning my bone saw and it went off" defense.

Mentally Il Duce @DonPayne17

Yea, it reminds me of the time the Saudis wound up in the cockpits if 4 airliners while looking for the restroom.

While US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was meeting with Saudi Arabia's leaders on Tuesday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan dropped a bombshell of a new twist in the investigation into the mysterious disappearance of the Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

According to Erdogan, Turkish investigators who searched the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul found surfaces there newly painted over.

Previous news reports have cited anonymous Turkish officials suggesting that a hit team of 15 Saudis killed and dismembered Khashoggi, a critic of the Saudi government, inside the consulate.

"My hope is that we can reach conclusions that will give us a reasonable opinion as soon as possible, because the investigation is looking into many things such as toxic materials and those materials being removed by painting them over," Erdogan told reporters, according to the Turkish pro-Erdogan website Yeni Safak.

Turkish investigators acknowledged that searching the consulate 13 days after Khashoggi vanished wasn't ideal. As part of the search, they used a dog and took soil samples as well as a metal door from the garden, according to Reuters.

Hours before the investigators entered the consulate, multiple news outlets reported of, and cameras filmed, a cleaning crew wheeling in boxes and boxes of cleaning supplies.

Turkish officials have also been quoted saying they have audio recording Khashoggi being killed.

Saudi Arabia's potential alibi

...

After a phone call with Saudi King Salman on Monday, President Donald Trump suggested that "rogue killers" might be responsible for the disappearance, rather than the Saudi royalty.

...

A Cat may look upon a King.

All this is fine and good.

But he was an ex-Saudi Administrator, spy, liaison to Bin Laden, and a member of the Moslem Brotherhood, yeah, and he did some journalism too.

He lived in DC and could have WALKED to the Saudi Embassy to resolve this.

Why a Turkish Consulate???

Why was Turkey spying inside the Consulate???

Looks like someone is trying to embarrass MBS.

As a reformer he has a lot of enemies.

What seems to be fact is that he ordered the equivalent of an off-the-books extradition of khashoggi.

How that mutated into an alleged murder is not known.

The Turks are definitely involved, some Saudis are involved, wouldn't be surprised if there was Iranian or even Russian involvement.

This could be the action of the Saudi equivalent of "Deep State" against their equivalent of Trump.

The reporter supported the Muslim Brotherhood and was vocal about the changes in Saudi Arabia to modernize and westernize it.

I understand he was a "reporter" by WaPo standards, but that isn't saying much.

I won't miss him a bit.
