The timing belt may need adjusting. When the timing belt goes your engine will be rekt.

I don't know, The reason I thinking it's the Alternator is
My lights are really dim of a night to the point it looks like it not even on at times and when it rains. Also my left turn signal in the dash is doing strange things and fluctuating speed when my break is pressed and headlights are on. When I roll up my windows the lights flicker and also when i hit the breaks.

I think I may have a bad diode or something with the alternator....

WHOH!! you know about diodes? yes, probably a diode in the bridge rectifier.

if yes, it is cheap and easy to fix.

I think I got a bad alternator...

But also my #2 Cylinder is misfiring...

Can the issues be related to the Alternator ?

Having a bad alternator will mean a dead battery very soon...

dim.headlights is bad ground.does your car leak oil?
oil causes bad engine block ground connection.this bad ground causes bad electrical problems .thus weak fuel pressure to injectors which causes misses.then ignition is weak which causes misses.
check ground to frame from battery first.electrical grease.goop it.
next time,make and model please.

I don't think your car's computer would only pick number 2 cylinder if the alternator was bad. An older VW bus it would about 77-79 year as they should be off the road by now.

Distributer cap, wires, spark plugs...

I just had the plugs / wires replaced last year.

depends on quality parts.

If a mount on the alternator was going bad, causing it to vibrate or wobble that could conceivably affect engine performance imo.

Misfire on #2 is most likely a weak injector. Buy another junked Subaru, for parts. Store in one of many empty building you guard. No one gots ta know. :)

No.
