I don't know, The reason I thinking it's the Alternator is
My lights are really dim of a night to the point it looks like it not even on at times and when it rains. Also my left turn signal in the dash is doing strange things and fluctuating speed when my break is pressed and headlights are on. When I roll up my windows the lights flicker and also when i hit the breaks.


I think I may have a bad diode or something with the alternator....

Dim lights on older cars are from all the corrosion that builds up on each place there's a connection.

To fix that, carefully go thru the lighting system, take apart each connection, clean the surfaces, and reconnect. Some use a conductive grease on the connections before re-assembling.

It's not winter yet, so this is a good time to winterize the car. Be sure to test the anti freeze too. How long has it been since the battery was replaced?
