Not a single penny should go to foreign aid until the roads and bridges are fixed.

Make America's bridges safe and great again.

Jhikpghf

It's a damned travesty...they have ignored what needs to be done so they could redirect money to "foreign aid"...then in appreciation for the hand out....foreign governments turn around and buy weapons from the MIC that the people that arranged that hand out have stock in and/or donate to charities championed by the people that arranged the aid...

Nice gig if you can get it...

"I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it." Thomas Jefferson

"Liberty means responsibility, which is why most men dread it." George Bernard Shaw

"Republics decline into democracies and democracies degenerate into despotism"...Aristotle

It sort of happens when the society doesn't pay the maintenance on the infrastructure they depend on, or even bother committing to making sure the engineered development are properly given the budgets they need. All the 'stuff' built is always built with a CAPEX, always. Every road, every bridge, every building, every house. The CAPEX dictates the capital required to keep any of it functional. In the current situation it's not even a case of one bad political expenditure causing it either, it's hundreds over time combined with exponential inflation on the cost of materials/services that chip away at the foundation so mindlessly.

There is the illusionary idea that somehow once a bridge or a road is built that it lasts forever, when the reality is the development of infrastructure is always in a process of destruction from the day it's built. To let things get to the current situation, it took decades of agenda's that ran completely contrary to the idea a civilization needs to exist at all. Mainly because none of the people that have money or power actually comprehend that for them to hold either, they need that infrastructure to keep them alive and in power.

When the infrastructure falls apart from a lack of planning, community development and foresight...

This shows and broadcasts how weak they are. How disorganised. How myoptic and short sighted. How lazy and stupid they really are. Every bridge and poorly built road shouts to the world; "Come on in, Morons are running this business, feel free to take everything."

Every new project they build requires a whole lifetime of maintenance, absolutely!
-like every new stadium, every new museum, every new university building,
every new government building.....and bases.

Each and every one is a leech on all the rest of the country.
The infrastructure rots while people collect their salaries, healthcare benefits, pensions.

That's why most third world countries are insufferable sh*t holes and have infected all of the republics with their petty kingdom garbage. If anyone wants to see the future of their countries they just need to review places like Mumbai or Hong Kong or Rio. Deep decay that is only solved with fire and starting over.

The fact is they've all got a tax base, they have resources...lots of them. They have people they can pay to plan better. But they don't. They are very, very, very dumb.

The issue is everyone in charge 'gotta get sum'. And the people that need to pay, they don't because it would appear they are weak paying for professional help. Dogmatically they repeat the identical mistakes as the last idiot that ran things and are always surprised when things continue to fall apart. Yet they all still proclaim 'power'. lulz...

Even though the world around them highlights how weak and dumb they all are.

Funny how these bridges just broke down in the first month of Trumps presidency.

The cost of fixing neglected infrastructure will be in the trillions of dollars. How many other Oroville dams are out there, waiting for a flood? Remember the bridge at Minneapolis that collapsed? Even with an army of construction workers and an unlimited budget, it would take decades to fix everything that needs fixed.

Oh they were falling apart during the past idiot's presidency.

Past president bumblefuk elect was a huggle muggle that stuck his head in the sand on the logistical and operational considerations of running shop. The fact is he was never cut out for the job, none of them are. Most of them aren't even fit for organ donation.

Hence Trump.

He's hardly the strongest choice, but when making a silk purse from a sow's ear it was a better choice given the options available. Remember all these idiots are part of the same blood line and country club and he's one of the few that actually eats this type of business for breakfast since most of his career was stick handling this business for his business. The situation is hardly a 'win', but it's unsurprising that he's getting let on the secrets of the past president and the complete lack of foresight and planning. Trump is merely the reaction to Obama's soft and shoddy management.

If anyone recalls the infrastructure was falling a part when Obama walked onto the stage. It's okay though. Barry is on the list to get his ass peeled like a banana once he drops dead from a stroke, the 'Black' has dibs on wrecking his fortunes in life and death. It's too bad no one told him about not shitting in someone else's sandbox and paying the capital owed.

It's going to be a pleasure ruining everything about his legacy.

And understanding that fact is the reason the country club better sharpen their pencil, or we're all just going to finish it in a night. They should be driven in fact to fix 110 years of trouble in four years...like all their lives depended on it like air in their lungs and the availability of food on their plate.

They are racing against a deadline to make up for all the dumb, sloppy, amateurish mistakes. The Guillotines are already built. The names of family and 'friends' are already done. If they aren't working like there is a fire lit under their asses, they will be the sorriest pieces of ass in the prison that is being tailored to torture them so long they'll think it's a career.

It doesn't. It's going to be a 'bridge to nowhere' to fleece the taxpayers for the nth time.

As another posted pointed out, Obama DID propose a jobs program to fix the infrastructure but it was rejected out of hand by Republicans, because Republican's are NEVER interested in the public sector.

Who cares.

If it isn't clear they are all working together on the slow methodical destruction of your home, I don't know what to say. They all are related by blood. The congress/legal/WH, they are all part of the same country clubs. They all hang out at the same parties. Go to the same schools. Eat at the same restaurants. Wear the same expensive clothes. Don't attempt to wash the whites separately here. They are all part of the same pile of garbage that needs to be disposed of. A bit of wisdom gained over the years of mistakes done by myself and others; don't hold onto garbage. Throw it out without any mind that the garbage is gone.

The fact is, they are all guilty. Under no circumstances are they considered anything less than completely disposable regardless of their marketing, colour of skin or sloppy management efforts. These people have all the resources with every asset at their disposal. This is the best they offer. lulz....The game now is to see if they can save themselves, given the highlights the likelihood of that happening is around 0.

They are simply not trained, too stupid to recognize that, nor are they built or competent enough to organise a cat fight with a can of cat food. They are the product of thousands of years of inbreeding, bad attitudes, molly coddling and faith in something that never existed. Worse yet, their desire for power outstrips their abilities. Every move they take is an inch deeper in the quick sand they furbished themselves by ignoring their house falling to pieces around them.

It sucks a lot of people get hurt while they mess everything up, but it's not your or my concern. These idiots were elected. They were given the torc by their people to lead during a 4 year period. If the people electing these worthless choads don't get it, no one is put in the universe to fix that level of stupid.

Ignorant comment. Our infrastructure needs rehabilitated to the tune of trillions of dollars while the wall is estimated to cost around $25 billion.

Trillion vs billion = factor of 1,000
